Experienced professional cellist, solo cello of several ensembles and orchestras, several gold medals and 1sts in conservatories and competitions in cello and chamber music, I offer cello or chamber music lessons to all motivated people: children - adults, beginners-advanced, one-off support, preparation for conservatory exams, chamber music, etc. I integrate music theory very naturally into my lessons if necessary.
Rigorous and experienced teaching, with joy, all in the service of music!
Pedagogy truly focused on musicality. The lessons are given with a complete approach to the person and the music, providing the student with the essential foundations for the cello and music. Experimentation from the beginning of expression and musical gesture. Development of listening and inner singing with an effective working method. About Me

Violoncelliste free-lance, je joue depuis 15 ans dans des ensembles tels que Les Siècles, Ensemble Pygmalion, l'orchestre des Champs Elysées, les Talens Lyriques, le Concert de la Loge etc....
Je suis basé à Lille depuis quelques années.
Je partage ma carrière entre le violoncelle "moderne " et sur instruments d'époques, j'apporte cette double expérience à mon enseignement.

I am here to help you get whatever you are willing to achieve. This can range from playing for fun, playing your favorite pieces, doing exams, focusing on technique. I can also help you with performance advice and train you to be a better performer.

Do you want to discover the cello, the most beautiful instrument in the world, or to learn more about it? I propose to guide you. I teach both in my apartment in the center of Lille and at home.

My pedagogy:
Having been trained in the great French tradition of the cello, I keep the requirement while advocating an absolute openness to the wishes of my students. The lessons are then a meeting between your desires or needs - whether classical, rock, jazz, pop, tango, samba, need for support lessons - and my determination to help you move forward and make you more and more autonomous.
I am also available for music theory lessons.

My journey in a few words:
The cello has been my companion since I was 6 years old. After starting theater studies, I found my happiness in music. With this dual experience, I now hold the final diploma from the Aubervilliers la Courneuve regional conservatory (CRR 93), and am continuing my studies at the École Supérieure de Musique et de Danse (ESMD) in Lille. I am also a graduate of the Center du Formation du Musicien d'Orchestre (CFMO), which allowed me to train with musicians from the most beautiful French orchestras. Finally, I cultivate a great love for chamber music. In particular, I was able to practice the string quartet, benefiting from the advice of the Voce and Van Kuijk quartets, and the piano trio under the aegis of the Leos trio.

Having obtained a 1st prize and a Master's degree with distinction from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels and being an associate professor (IMEP), I teach cello in Lille, for you or your child, whatever the level.

It is not necessary to have notions of music theory to follow the courses.

Active in different orchestras, notably at the Opéra de la Monnaie, I also offer preparation sessions for those who would like to join a musical ensemble.

Having graduated with a Master's degree from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, Sophie Broïon then continued her development in Helsinki, where she enriched her approach to the cello with great international masters. Winner of several First Prizes in chamber music, she performs regularly in various ensembles, exploring a wide repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary.

Her career has led her to hold various positions, as a soloist, co-soloist, and soloist in several prestigious orchestras, but also to perform as a soloist, asserting a rich and expressive musical personality. Her career thus combines orchestral demands, a passion for chamber music, and artistic commitment on stage.

• Acquire solid technical foundations (posture, holding the bow, accuracy, breathing)
• Develop musical listening, sensitivity and interpretation
• Gradually build a repertoire adapted to the student's level and desires
