About Me

I am a professional violinist and studied at the conservatories of Antwerp, The Hague and Amsterdam.
I obtained my master's degree and teaching certificate and completed my studies with the baroque violin training.
I am active in various ensembles

I studied at the Antwerp Conservatory, the Hague Conservatory and the Sweelinckconservatory Amsterdam. I obtained my master's degree in 2006 as well as my pedagogical certificate

First, let's remember what we're talking about. Music is and always has been inherent in all human societies. It has many roles and is a very powerful language. It's a universe in itself...

Music, and the violin in particular, brings me enormous joy every day. In fact, joy is, in my opinion, the greatest source of motivation given to us on earth. So, quite logically, I place it at the heart of my lessons.

It would be an illusion to pretend that learning to play the violin is a simple matter! So I accept the challenge, often neglected, to do everything I can to convey my enjoyment of playing the violin. By the way, as I just wrote, in French you don't say "travailler le violon", you say "jouer du violon". So even though the road is hard, I will do everything I can to make it fun.

My lessons are adapted to all levels, ages and profiles.

Together with each student, I strive to find the most suitable tests, so that everyone learns as effectively as possible and, above all, with pleasure!

I attach great importance to the correct use and well-being of the body. Playing the violin not only involves the cerebral and the emotional, it is also a complex physical exercise! I am a Master graduated classical musician, working in orchestra and chamber music ensembles. I’d be happy to share music with you!

Didactic has always been an important aspect of my life, growing up in the music school of my family where I started playing violin at 3 years old.
I am a teacher with experiences in both private and public schools for children, teenagers and adults of all levels. We will learn violin technique, explore music theory and reading in order to have a full preparation for whatever your goal is.
