Experience / Qualifications
During my academic career, I served as a teaching assistant for introductory chemistry and organic chemistry courses, where I found joy in adapting complex topics to each student’s skill set. This passion led me to various mentoring roles, including serving as an advisor for first- and second-year university students as a Head Resident Advisor at Beloit College and a Residential College Fellow at Washington University. Additionally, I taught secondary mathematics to Latin American immigrants as a GED tutor at Beloit Public Library and coached basketball for children ages 8–14 as a summer basketball coach. Few things are more rewarding than witnessing someone’s progress and excitement for learning.
