A native of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Olivé began his piano studies under the guidance of Professor Marcilda Clis. Upon entering UNIRIO, he started taking lessons with the pianist and composer Claudio Dauelsberg. He holds a degree in piano from the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in Germany, where he was a student of Professor Kaya Han. He spent 2 years in Portugal, where he taught at the Academia de Música de Almada. He also received guidance from Professor and pianist Manuel Araújo of the Academia Internacional de Música Aquilles Delle Vigne in Coimbra. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, with the renowned pianist Sylvia Thereza as his teacher.

He has been awarded in national and international competitions, such as the VII Sardoal Young Talent Award (2nd Prize - ex-aequo in the Piano Solo category; 2nd Prize and Best Portuguese Duo in the Piano Duo category), the Prof. Dichler-Competition 2022 in Vienna (2nd Prize - ex aequo in the Piano Duo category), the I National Piano Competition of the Villa-Lobos Music School (Honorable Mention) in Rio de Janeiro, and the XXVI Souza Lima Piano Competition (Honorable Mention) in São Paulo.

His classes are intended for anyone who wants to start learning music theory and piano or those who already have basic or advanced knowledge. From Classical to Popular music, his teaching method adapts to the goals and individual desires of the student. During the classes, music theory is taught either concurrently or separately from practice, and the repertoire to be played is chosen collaboratively with the student.

Felipe has years of experience as a concert pianist and teacher in academies and music schools. He seeks the most suitable approach for each student, respecting their learning pace, helping overcome difficulties, and exploring their strengths, always encouraging progress.

🎵 Performance Highlights
I’ve had the honor of performing for and learning from internationally acclaimed artists such as Nikolai Lugansky, Lang Lang, Oleg Marshev, Makoto Ueno, and Peter Lang, experiences that have shaped my musical identity. My recent performance of Beethoven’s Second Piano Concerto with the Cluster Philharmonie in Belgium—part of a benefit concert supporting flood victims in Brazil—reflects my belief in the power of music to create meaningful change.

I’ve performed in prestigious venues in Brazil and Europe, and my artistic journey includes both traditional repertoire and collaborative projects that cross stylistic boundaries. One example is my work with Brazilian singer Antonia Medeiros on the composition and arrangement of Ao Teu Lado, a song that highlights my versatility as a performer and composer.

I’ve also premiered contemporary works such as Porturasil by José Carlos Sousa, a piece dedicated to my former teacher Manuel Araújo, showcasing my commitment to honoring tradition while embracing new artistic frontiers.

📚 Artistic Research
My recent research explores how historical improvisation can enrich the modern interpretation of Classical repertoire. Using sources like Czerny’s School of Practical Composition and historical performance treatises, I have developed a personal practice of improvising Eingänge and cadenzas—especially within Beethoven’s sonatas—bridging past and present through informed spontaneity.

The flute it’s a quite complex instrument, where the challenge is to find the balance between all the parameter, such as posture(in order to learn how to play fast passage), lips and everything concerning breathing technique(in order to get the best clear and powerful sound).

I am an enthusiastic professional violinist and teacher. I can teach you classical violin, folk songs from Greece and Middle East, as well as your favourite pop tunes and tunes of almost any other music genre!

Being well classically trained, I can help you build a solid violin technique and prepare you for giving your best during important music occasions such as exams, auditions, concerts etc.

Also, being member of pop - oriental bands with concerts around Belgium, France and Greece, having played with several classical and
contemporary music ensembles and orchestras, as well as coming from a family of musicians, my lessons are ideal for students who want to learn to be at ease when they eventually make music with others. :)

All pieces can be taught either by ear, music scores or BOTH!! Teaching you basic and/or more advanced music theory to facilitate your violin learning if you don't know yet how to read and write music, can be easily done!

My personal experience with music psychology and body movement techniques for musicians have enriched my knowledge and teaching skills. Extra attention is given during the lessons to not only help you build a strong and steadfast technique and develop your music ear, but also to acquire a confident presence and attitude for when you play for others! All is being done with gentle care towards your body's physiology and feelings, and consideration of your learning style. :))

Since I was 4 years old, piano has taken a big place in my life and heart, because my father has taught me ever since.
I am extremely excited to share my passion with interested people, whatever their age!
I pay a lot of attention to the position at the piano, so that no injuries occur. I also talk a lot about musical lines and how to produce a good sound on the piano. If you have not taken solfège, I am very happy to help with that as well along with the piano study.
Playing the piano is very personal for everyone, both technically and musically. That is why I think it is very important to look for the best solutions and adapt to each individual student, so that he or she can create his or her own bond with music.

Reading, understanding, playing and writing music.
I offer lessons for children and adults, no matter the level. In my lessons, in addition to learning technique and the instrumental repertoire (clarinet), you learn the language of music in all its facets (solfeggio, rhythmics, dictation, harmony, elements of composition).
The method I use varies for each individual student and depends not only on his/her level, but on what interests him/her most and what serves his/her artistic growth.

I am Ezio, I am Italian and I moved to Belgium to continue my studies.
I have a degree in clarinet, I also studied conducting for wind orchestras, musical propaedeutics and also theatre and theatre therapy.
I have worked with youth bands and taught in two music schools in Sicily. I am always interested in new methodologies and everything that can make learning not only functional, but also a real pleasure.

Are you a beginner who has started to learn guitar on his own, and can't see the trees for the wood anymore? Or do you already have some experience and want to learn something new? Then you've come to the right place!

About myself:
I have been playing both guitar and bass guitar for 8 years. I also have a solid foundation in music theory. I took lessons with Kristof Neyens (rock school leuven) for several years, and now I would like to share my experience.

Classes:
Depending on your preference, we can draw up a lesson plan together with individual assignments. I also try to work as much as possible with the genres that you like to listen to yourself, this is of course more motivating (after all, you don't want to try to teach Mozart to a Metal fan ;))

My approach is certainly not like that of the 'music theory' at the academy. From your first lesson you will immediately start playing songs. I only use music theory if it is really necessary or if you would like to delve into it.

Practical:
I follow distance education so I can actually go at any time of the week, online lessons are also a possibility.
