I am a TEFL certified professional English teacher who is experienced in teaching general English and English for Specific Purposes both face to face and online. I help my students reach their goals of preparing for a test like IELTS or Cambridge, a job interview, negotiations, presentations and becoming more fluent in the language in general. Besides editing and proofreading my students’ writing, such as business correspondence, CVs, personal statements and academic texts, I teach them how to improve their writing skills and become a confident language user. I also teach teenagers and young adults.
My lessons are fun, interactive and tailored to your needs! Apart from audio-video resources, role-plays, interesting texts and practicing for your tests, we will focus on pronunciation for listeners to improve your listening and speaking skills. I also pay a lot of attention to developing my students’ autonomy that helps you learn the language outside the classroom.

About Me

I am an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who has taught adults, business professionals, university students, teenagers and young learners. I often develop my own materials to suit my students' needs and interests. My approach to teaching is a lot about common sense: help and support you when you are struggling, provide enough practice to make you feel confident outside the classroom, teach you how to learn the language in your daily life as you go along.

Experience / Qualifications

I have worked for multinational companies, such as Procter&Gamble, IKEA and Philip Morris so I am aware of the language needs of business people. I have taught owners of small businesses in Russia to help them start working internationally. I have tutored students of Higher School of Economics in Moscow to help them in their studies and prepare for IELTS. I have also enjoyed working with teenagers to improve their language skills and develop critical thinking. I have worked with young learners and found it very rewarding.

Difficulties in English or French? Learning a new language is not easy, nor is discovering a new culture. Learning is much easier when you have fun, and when the lesson is based on the child's interests.
