I'm a native English teacher from Canada who has just moved to Lausanne, Switzerland (June 2018).

I have almost a decade of experience teaching students (teenagers to adults) in public, private, and language schools.

Whether you are studying for a specific test such as IELTS or Cambridge, or just want to become more fluent, I can make it happen. Lessons are fun, interactive, and low pressure! Methodologies include audio-visual resources, role-plays, texts, pronunciation coaching, and tests.

About Me

Hi everyone!

I'm originally from Canada, and grew up there until I was 24. At that point I decided I wanted to see the world and embarked on a career in international education for the next 4 years in a few different countries. This allowed me to understand culture and language on a deeper level. Now I have a passion for sharing my own native tongue with those who are keen to learn it!

I am a certified schoolteacher in Canada, after having completed two university degrees. I also went on to do a 5 week CELTA certificate which was invaluable in giving me the nuances of English language teaching.

Difficulties in English or French? Learning a new language is not easy, nor is discovering a new culture. Learning is much easier when you have fun, and when the lesson is based on the child's interests.

Scientific research increasingly shows that we learn better while having fun, by adapting the teaching to our tastes. For English it's the same ... if your child is a fan of Minecraft or Pokemon, manga or drawing, we will approach the subject while reviewing the notions of English acquired or in the process of being acquired.
