Practicing the piano since the age of 4, I obtained in 2020 my DEM (Diploma of musical studies) from the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (Alsace) (equivalent to the Swiss Certificate). I am now a bachelor's student in opera singing and piano at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Lausanne since September 2020. In parallel with my studies, I have always enjoyed sharing what I myself have the chance to continue to learn, so much so that I have been giving private piano lessons for 3 years.

I believe that for the student to get the most out of his course, a great adaptability of the teacher is necessary. I therefore build my lessons according to the wishes of the student, both in the choice of the pieces he/she would like to play and in the space where the lessons take place, so that his practice of music does him good. ! It is therefore essential for me that the framework where the student practices his instrument invites him to feel confident, happy and relaxed and that the music is above all a source of pleasure, and not a constraint.

About Me

Born into a family of musicians, music has always been a way for me to express myself and communicate with others since I was young. I have been playing the piano since the age of four, first privately then at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Strasbourg (from 2007 to 2020). I then discovered opera singing by accompanying singers and taking pleasure in singing myself in a choir and taking lessons. I could not imagine my life without piano and singing, that's why I seek to make this passion my profession, and the transmission of this love through lessons, I hope at least, will perhaps invite others to invite music into their lives!

Education

Thanks to an American father and a Danish mother, I was immersed in languages from an early age. In addition to training in singing and piano at the CRR in Strasbourg, my "general" education was done in international schools in Strasbourg where I obtained my diplomas (brevet, baccalaureate) with honors and always with the international option. Having grown up in the city of Strasbourg, border with Germany, I also had the chance to learn German (level B2). Passionate about languages, literature and Art in general, I like to blur the boundaries between music and words and always dig deeper to seek the deep meaning of self-expression.

So I have 17 years of piano practice, 15 of which in a conservatory and two in high school (bachelor of singing and piano in progress) as well as 3 years of experience as a piano teacher.

Singing lessons in Lausanne by a music school student

For any singing practice, whether variety singing (pop, rock) or opera singing, part of the singing course should ideally incorporate practical work on technique and vocal anatomy.
