About Me
My name is Francesco. I am an Italo-Swiss photographer and educator in science and science communication at Webster University Geneva.
I hold a PhD in Physical Chemistry (EPFL Lausanne), and my research focused on the ultrafast dynamics of materials and light–matter interaction before I dedicated myself to documentary and artistic photography, in which I earned an MA in Photojournalism & Documentary Photography from the University of the Arts London.
Today, I teach science, communication, and photography to international students.
My teaching approach is built on curiosity, clarity, and practice — I believe that we learn best when we understand the deeper meaning of things, whether it’s a thermodynamic equation or a photographic composition.
I always adapt my lessons to each student’s level and goals — whether you’re a high-school pupil, a university student, an adult learner, or an aspiring photographer.
