I don't have a single methodology, in the sense that I don't have a pre-defined programme: I observe how the student is developing, their motivations, ambitions and personal tastes, and from this I deduce pieces to suggest or specific, tailored advice on how to work. My aim is to develop a personalised relationship with the student, rather than imposing a framework: there are no essential works, no essential method, and above all no single way of looking at regular practice of the instrument.
My approach to teaching is based on the individual character of each student, because each person has his or her own perception of music and, above all, does not absorb teaching in the same way.
My role is to adapt to different personalities and to take advantage of their strengths and 'combat' their weaknesses...
The lesson is also a meeting place, because to make good progress in this subject you need a connection between student and teacher, and that's essential!
