About Me
Professional musician with 4 years of experience in teaching, I offer courses (FR / EN) piano, singing and composition, ranging from classical to current music through jazz. My goal is to offer a program adapted to the needs and desires of my students, whether for simple lessons, the preparation of a concert or an examination, the development of a personal composition or the improvement of your actual level.
About me :
I grew up under the artistic influence of my father, Doctor Gabs, world-renowned swing and boogie-woogie pianist. Alternating classical classes at the Conservatoire de Lausanne and a self-taught apprenticeship in jazz and contemporary music, I started playing the piano at the age of three. My first big stage was the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels at the age of 14 with the American organist Rhoda Scott. I then founded A Time To Remember, an association for young artists for which I received the title Youth of the City of Lausanne in 2015. In parallel with my studies at the HEMU (High School of Music) in 2016-17, I perform solo and duet with drummer and singer Clyde Philipp's, including the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2017 on the stage of the Auditorium Stravinsky, and I was also a winner of the Montreux Jazz Academy 2017. I perform regularly today on stage with my duo Imelda & Clyde, in Switzerland and abroad.
