About Me

Passionate about music and meetings.

I started the music at the age of 6, with this beautiful instrument that is the harp and I never stopped :)

I studied the harp for 10 years in academy, participated in many competitions, while attending music theory, choir, improvisation and musical composition classes.
I also started the guitar and the piano in self-study, in parallel with my lessons. And I also started singing.
Once my studies of harp finished, I went on a trip, in Cuba for a few months, for the music, but also for the human experience and the Spanish language!
I then participated in the show The Voice France, in the team of Louis Bertignac.
Subsequently, I trained in harp-jazz at Berklee College of Music in Boston and then Valence (Spain), from 2014 to 2017.
I then spent 2 months in South America (Colombia and Brazil) to broaden my musical knowledge and I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston in 2017.
After that, I lived in New York for 3 years where I explored the music scene with my music group.
I am now back in Belgium where I teach the harp at the Royal Conservatory of Liège.

Music is part of my life, I could not do without it. And being able to teach this passion, to transmit this knowledge, is for me indispensable and magical!

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. About the Lesson

I can teach you reading sheet music or playing by ear, depending on your preference and goals. I can also help you improvise and create your own music in the styles you enjoy.

I focus on healthy technique, musicality, and effective practice habits to build confidence and avoid tension or injury. Online lessons are just as effective as in-person ones. I use a professional multi-camera setup and high-quality audio so you can clearly see technique and movement. Most of my lessons (95%+) are taught online.

Curriculum

There is no single method that fits everyone, so I adapt all materials to you.

For beginners, I often use Alfred’s Basic Piano Library. For classical and jazz development, I work with ABRSM and Trinity syllabi. I’m always happy to use other methods if you prefer.

Alongside structured materials, I include music you enjoy and focus on essential skills that apply across all styles—from classical to modern music.

Throughout my career, I have won prizes at international competitions in Portugal, Italy, and Austria, and I was also a finalist in Spain. As a pianist, I have had the opportunity to perform on stage in Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, and Austria.

I am constantly seeking to improve myself, which has led me to participate in masterclasses and take courses with renowned professors, such as Ricardo Castro, Mamiko Suda, Giuseppe Andaloro, Vagharshak Aratunyan, Josep Colom, among many others.
