I enjoy seeing fast and sustained progress in the students I mentor, who feel a sense of accomplishment from their sessions with me because of the positive feedback they receive.

One to one trumpet tuition for all ages. I would aim to help develop technique and musicality as well as theory, with a focus on fun and the enjoyment that comes through involvement in music. I would help provide guidance on individual pieces and play duets with students. I specialise in tutoring Geography up to Postgraduate level, Science A levels, GCSE and AS Maths, and Sociology and Politics up to A level. My goal is to keep students up to date and thinking up to a high standard both within and around their subjects. I will provide individually catered lesson and progress plans for subject lessons, and can also provide assistance with personal statements and Oxbridge mock interviews.

I am currently working towards my PhD in Philosophy, and I have been teaching the subject at A Level and Degree level for the last year. I have also previously provided private tuition for Philosophy and Religious Studies. I enjoy having lively conversations with my students in order to encourage their critical skills. Students have said that they look forward to our sessions and understand the (often challenging) topics better afterwards. I assign homework tasks and keep a track of the progress of my students.

I'm available to tutor latin to beginners and offer support to more experience students up to GCSE. I love the language but know the difficulties it can present and am passionate at helping others get to grips with it. I aim to tailor each lesson to suit individual needs and make sure the experience is as interesting and worthwhile as possible. Preferably lessons would be scheduled between 1- 3 hours at a time, but I am flexible with this. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any further questions and I'm more than happy to do a first webcam session to make sure I'm the right tutor for you.

I specialise in tutoring geography and maths to A Level students in the UK. I am a student studying Earth Science at Imperial College London and want to transfer my knowledge and passion of geography onto my students. I have ideal resources that I can provide to my students as well.

If you have been looking to pick up a pair of drumsticks for the first time ever, or if you used to play the drums and feel like getting back to it, or even if you feel like you've hit a plateau on your drumming and are not sure how to take it to the next level, I want to help you. I am passionate about music and drums and I am also very excited to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over all these years. As I currently have the chance to take on a few more students, I am happy to teach people of all ages and levels, as I'd love to inspire more people to play music, be it as a dream or just a hobby. My lessons are light and fun, but educative and will help you reach your goals. The topics I cover range between learning songs, rudiments, coordination, reading, even music theory if you'd like, and anything else you have in mind (the philosophy behind creativity and drumming is definitely on the table!). If you have any questions, don't hesitate in asking. I will get back to you as soon as possible! Nuno.

I am a student who recently finished college and is heading to university. I have been a tutor for two GCSE students and one for a year 6 pupil, and I specialise in working with children up to year 11. I aim to help the student with his knowledge gaps, and ensure a steady and continuous progress, whist making the subject as interesting as possible for the person. I offer constant feedback and help with whatever it is that they need, so they they obtain the grades they want in the examination. I tailor the experience for each student and I make sure they feel comfortable and happy whist they are still challenged to improve themselves. Additional work can be given if asked by student/ parent.

After finishing A-Level French, I moved to Paris in order to live in the country whose language and culture I have long been fascinated by. I worked there as an Au-Pair, and attended literature/philosophy courses at the Sorbonne, really securing my level of French. Since starting my English degree at university, I have continued to take a French course to maintain the level I was able to reach. I am keen to transfer my passion for the language in a way which can encourage students to engage their brains and appetites to acquire language and give them dexterity with it. My main aim is to develop a mutual confidence and provide a platform for the learner to spring off into a higher level of language.

I specialise in tutoring Economics and Mathematics at all school level exams. My goal goes beyond help students to achieve higher grades and in the process make it more enjoyable. I specialised in Economics and Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, achieving a 2:1 in my degree. I achieved 10A*s & 1A at GCSE level and 3A*s & 1A at A Level (Mathematics (A*), Further Mathematics (A*), Economics (A*) & Geography (A)). Despite this success I really struggled with academia prior to my GCSEs and absolutely hated revision/exams! I think this view was compounded by my dyslexia. However my track record shows that I have been able to overcome these challenges through what I think is a really effective learning method! During sessions I will work through the theory, ensuring that it is well understood. Following the sessions I will assign homework, which will be used to map progress. I also want to actively engage in the students lives, as I provide mentorship!

I specialize in tutoring maths and Science for school and exam preparation for GCSE Maths Exams (Foundation & Higher). My goal is to keep students challenged, motivated, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports.

Hello! I have just completed my A-levels (predicted A*, A, A) at Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form, and I'd like to tutor GCSE and SAT students in English Literature and Language (my favourite subject) during my gap year. I have experience working with children and teenagers as a qualified assistant swimming instructor, as well as helping my younger brother improve and maintain his grades. I have also worked with children with special needs. My teaching methodology emphasises positive reinforcement and planning. I break down the syllabus into manageable chunks, and make sure to explain new concepts as simply as possible. The GCSE English curriculum may appear daunting, but I promise to demystify it. As a level 9 (A**) student, I know what is required to achieve top marks. My main priority is helping all of my students to achieve their full potential.
