Private English Lessons for Children: Confidence, Creativity & Personalised Learning
English is not just a subject... it is a foundation for confidence, expression, and future opportunity.
As a native English speaker holding UK qualified teacher status, now living abroad, I specialise in working with children in international environments where English is often a second, third, or fourth language. Living in Luxembourg, I understand the unique needs of multilingual learners and how to support them with clarity and sensitivity.
My approach combines strong educational foundations with creativity and calm, structured guidance. Lessons are designed to develop language skills through engaging, interactive experiences; including phonics (sound work), vocabulary development, and communication through movement, games, and imaginative play - even when online!
Each programme is fully personalised. I adapt both content and teaching approach in response to the child’s needs, learning style, and pace. Where needed, I align lessons with the child’s own school curriculum (British, international, or other), ensuring consistency and meaningful progress across both settings.
My aim is to create a learning environment where children feel secure, confident, and motivated. When children feel relaxed and engaged, they learn more effectively and develop a lasting positive relationship with learning.

About Me
I’m a qualified UK teacher with a calm, thoughtful approach and a genuine focus on each child as an individual.
As a native English speaker based in Luxembourg, I work with international families whose children are learning English as a second, third, or even fourth language. I understand how to support them with clarity, sensitivity, and consistency.
My work is highly personalised and led with creativity. I take time to understand each child’s needs, pace, and confidence, creating lessons that feel both structured and enjoyable. I value building strong relationships with both children and parents, ensuring a supportive and trusting learning environment.
I particularly enjoy working with families who are looking for a consistent, long-term approach; where children can feel secure, grow in confidence, and develop a lasting, positive relationship with learning.
