FLE teacher graduated from the Alliance française Bruxelles-Europe. I taught in Laos (1 year in a local school) in Peru (1 year in a college and in a French alliance), in Moscow (2 years in a private language school), in Brussels (6 month in an association that delivers courses to newcomers and the F9 for private and group lessons at the ULB). The type of teaching that I favor is based on active pedagogy, constant interaction of the learner with his teacher and his environment, a cultural exchange and a clear and precise understanding of the objectives to be achieved. To apply this practice I use a lot: authentic documents (radio and TV programs, articles, reports, songs, testimonials, ...), the role play (theatrical exercises), games are a founding element of my teaching (playful and recreational approach of the language), the debates (the experience and the personal history being the raw material to animate them), reading (books and comics: phonetics), the grammatical exercises in adequacy with the theme ( didactics of FLE and grammatical methodology)

Specializing in translation and teaching French (abroad), I offer general academic support for homework and reviewing concepts of French linguistics, grammar and spelling. My course is aimed at lower/upper secondary school students and higher education and university students; I have experience in preparing for the central jury, university entrance exams and students studying linguistics, translation and speech therapy. I will adapt my way of working and my teaching methods according to my student and what he wants to improve: oral or written expression, reading and analysis of books (themes, characters), writing summaries of texts or arguments on subjects often given in the Central Jury exams or university admission exams. I have experience working with teenagers and young adults, and my teaching also includes coaching. I have been teaching students of various levels from all around the world for over 5 years. I have helped students prepare for French exams like the DELF, as well as those who are planning to move to a French-speaking country and need real-life language skills. For beginners, I recommend trying out the Pimsleur method, which is a 30-minute audio lesson based on gradual interval recall. This method reviews learned vocabulary at increasingly longer intervals and has been used by the CIA. If you are interested, we can discuss how to use this method together. I offer French lessons remotely through Skype, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams or at the students place. When the lesson is online, I use a platform that allows us to see and modify documents, images, and videos in real-time, which is very useful. I aim my lesson at Dutch speakers who want to learn French, who have difficulties with it at school, or who simply want to refine their conversation skills. French is my native language, and I have studied Latin and Greek, which gave me a deeper understanding of French grammar and language.

I have supported a large number of students with homework help (all branches combined) as well as with language lessons. Having also worked for several years as a school substitute, I have accumulated experience and am familiar with the requirements required in class. The French language, what a hassle! Learning French is a real obstacle course !! Between the words that are not pronounced as they are written, the feminine / masculine, the conjugation of sleeping upright, the accents .... I am here to give you (re) taste this beautiful language thanks to a playful learning and inspired by speech therapy techniques. Depending on demand, we can work on the lexicon as well as reading, spelling, or even understanding text. I am also open to other areas. My journey : I obtained the speech therapist diploma at Marie Haps in 2019, while giving private lessons for a long time in parallel with my studies.
