Over my thirty years of teaching I have taught all ages, from working in primary schools with
young children, to those with special needs, to individuals learning later in life. I have a passion to share the enjoyment and satisfaction of playing and learning music. Instruments I have taught include: piano (my main focus), flute, recorder, saxophone and trumpet as well as singing lessons.

I specialise in teaching music composition, production, and piano. I have a BA from the University of Oxford in Music, and I am a professional TV and Film composer. I am also able to teach music theory, history, and ear training.

My goal is to create lessons that help my students to get an interactive, un-intimidating, and fun filled musical education. I believe that this comes from learning not just one area of music, but by giving students the tools to be confident in any musical setting they choose. I teach all ages and levels of musical ability.

As I have a wide background in music, I am able to give a rounded music educate in the area you choose to specialise in! I have experience performing classical, funk, jazz, and pop and would love to share a whole range of different styles with you.

I am a trained professional singer with a Bachelors degree in music from the University of Bristol.
As well as singing, I play piano and conduct a professional choir.
I'm based near Blackhorse Road station in Walthamstow and teach in my house.

I teach all ages and all levels for singing and am happy either working towards grades or just singing for fun. I also teach music theory up to grade 5 to provide pupils with a strong foundation for progressing to the higher grades.

I am able to provide socially distant lessons within my own home as well as online.

For me the most important thing about music lessons is that they should be enjoyable, whether or not you are working towards an exam. Singing can improve confidence in young children, provide a space to let off some steam for adults or anything in between. I tweak my lesson style based on what you want to get out of the time.

I have a 100% pass rate for all my pupils for both singing and theory.

I am a classically trained professional pianist, with 16 years of teaching experiences of all ages and levels. I have many experiences in performing, competitions and accompanying singers/instrumentalists in concerts and in music exams. I am very familiar with the ABRSM exams and I have many successes with students passing ABRSM music (Grade 1-8, and Diploma) and theory exams (Grade 1-5) with very good grades. I can help you whether you are learning the piano for fun, or working towards exams. Created for complete beginners and those with some experience of Piano and Singing technique, this classes serve as an ideal starting point to develop piano and singing technique, to work on improvisation skills and sight-reading, to learn in depth music theory and chords and also to explore various music genres, to build up personal portfolio, self-confidence and stage presence.

Special programme for younger beginners “Music Wonderland” has been specifically designed for children as young as 3.5 up to 7 years old.

I have studied Grade 8 Piano and Music Theory. I have also studied at an undergraduate level in Music. The class is tailored to the individual but in general technique and musicality go hand in hand. I am strong on the reading of music as this gives the student all the necessary tools to read so many different genres of music... and to then be free of music if that is the goal.

Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction.
