(ENG -FR) Hi ! I am a Swiss concert pianist and teacher living in east London. Interested in all kind of arts, I am a relaxed, friendly and easy-going person, looking forward to meeting you !
My approach to piano teaching is very flexible, as every student is different, has another path and another story to tell through music.
We'll focus on your needs and desires and define the goals together. My job will be to take you where you want to go, step by step.
Music is a language, and I'll be able to help you understand the "grammar" of it if you need or want it.
In general, each lesson includes various learning aspects (sight reading, technique, breathing ...), all serving the musical expression.
I teach at my house on my lovely Yamaha baby grand piano (or can travel to your place if not too far from Lower Clapton).
I've enjoyed teaching the piano for more than 2 decades now, to children and adults of all age, both at home or in piano schools, with lots of achievements and satisfaction for both my students and me :-)
I have a professional teaching diploma as well as a master degree in performance (concert diploma) issued in Switzerland (university of the Arts - Bern)

I specialise in teaching music composition, production, and piano. I have a BA from the University of Oxford in Music, and I am a professional TV and Film composer. I am also able to teach music theory, history, and ear training.

My goal is to create lessons that help my students to get an interactive, un-intimidating, and fun filled musical education. My name is Aoibheann, I am originally from Ireland but have been living in London almost 2 years. I am a piano teacher who has studied piano for over 12 years. I have studied Grade 8 Piano and Music Theory. I have also studied at an undergraduate level in Music. I have a patient, fun, and enthusiastic approach to teaching, having taught adults and children it is vital to create a safe environment built on mutual respect.
My main interests in teaching is helping students create a love for playing and nurturing that through playing pieces they will love. My name is Andrea, I have recently concluded my Artist's Master in keyboard instruments at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. My passion for music induced me to apply in the “Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria” in the course of Harpsichord as my principal study. After 10 years studying music and obtaining the diploma of “Grado de Enseñanzas Profesionales” in the conservatory, I developed a deep interest for Classical and Early music for keyboard instruments.

Discovering a historical and musical universe, I decided to continue my performing and theoretical investigation studying the bachelor course in keyboard instruments including piano, harpsichord and organ. I had the amazing opportunity to obtain a scholarship and study at the "Conservatorio Tartini di Trieste", in Italy. Working with exceptional teachers, i was able expand my linguistic abilities and cultural appreciation for the expressive diversity of Keyboard music. I have discovered the magnificent variety between many composers all around Europe and the distinct features and techniques they utilized to improvise and to embellish their pieces. During this artistic journey, i have had extraordinary performance experiences as a soloist including playing at the Parlament of Brussels and the National Gallery in Bosnia. Recently, living in London has inspired me to take part in a wide variety of exciting projects such as performing as a keyboard accompanist in Opera Scenes and with the Guildhall Baroque Orchestra in the Milton Court Concert Hall.

The class is tailored to the individual but in general technique and musicality go hand in hand. I am strong on the reading of music as this gives the student all the necessary tools to read so many different genres of music... and to then be free of music if that is the goal.

Hey! My name is Seán, and I am an Irish singer-songwriter based in London with 2 years of teaching experience. I teach a range of disciplines, including piano, guitar, vocals, songwriting, and music theory. Having taught students of all ages and different levels of musicianship, I am pleased to say that I have built long-lasting relationships with many of my students. With an emphasis on creativity and student input; my lessons allow students to discover their own playing style and musical direction.

Music Composition is an invaluable practice, that requires both technical skills and creative aptitude. In my classes, we will focus on establishing, building on and fine-tuning both these areas whatever level you're at.
