I am currently studying Master of Basic Mathematics at the Sorbonne at a distance. I have several tutoring experiences of students in difficulty in Mathematics and Physics in engineering school in France. I want to identify the level of difficulty of the student and I stay tuned to offer an interesting course, dynamic that would arouse his interest in mathematics. I currently offer tutoring in Mathematics. After establishing the required course perimeter, I prepare a course as well as exercise sheets. A summary of the course is then presented and discussed with the student to try to clarify the points of difficulty. Once the course is assimilated, we work together on the exercises. Home exercises are offered at the end of the session and their correction takes place at the beginning of the next session.

The class involves my demonstrating how to execute many Excel special functions. Such as linking information from one spreadsheet tab to another tab; creating V-Look ups, H-Look ups, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Nested If's, Sumif's, "If/Then", “If/And” scenarios among many others. Included in the lesson is an interactive spreadsheet which contains actual working formulas with step-by-step instructions for easy implementation. You will see working, functioning examples of all the Excel functions I teach & explain during the lecture. Excel is one of my specialties. As an experienced CPA who has had both individual and corporate clients, I have constructed both simple to very complex spreadsheets – plus I was always ready to explain how they functioned to my employer, my co-workers, my tax clients, and even auditors!

I grew up in Toronto, graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours BA in English Literature, and have experience teaching both adults and younger students. I specialize in conversation classes, and my students have all attained great results quite quickly -- they've become more confident in speaking, and have increased their vocabularies significantly. I also provide consultation in academic writing and school applications. My clients have gone on to study in schools such as Yale, UPenn Wharton, and other prestigious universities. I am also fluent in Chinese. I teach my classes in English, but will switch to Chinese on especially difficult concepts if the students are struggling to comprehend my explanations in English. I can also provide feedback in Chinese outside of lesson hours. I find that this arrangement has been very helpful for my students, and have consistently increased their understanding and progress.

What do you love to listen to? How do you create music that expresses the music that has deeply influenced you? The "how do you create that" is where technique, or music theory, shapes what compels you. There are a variety of techniques because there are a variety of sound possibilities (jazz, rock, classical, etc.). "In order to create that" music in your head, the basics of music have to be learned: pitch and rhythmical relationships. The most basic examples of pitch relationships are melody and harmony. If my availability works, I will gladly take in anyone who desires to explore all the basics and beyond. I greatly hope that any student considering lessons will read all of the information provided about myself on Apprentus. I will not begin a lesson with any student who does not answer the first five questions. Now, I believe I've covered enough ground for potential students to understand what my lessons will be about. So for now... enjoy the sounds and Au revoir!

I am a 22-year-old native French student, currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Data Science at Columbia University. I am offering Mathematics and French classes to students from high school to graduate school - or to adults. I possess a very solid theoretical background in both Maths and Physics, thanks to the French Preparatory Class program, which I followed at Lycée Henri IV, one of France's top establishments. I was then accepted in Telecom Paris, which is among the 5 best engineering schools in the country. I have previous experience teaching high school and middle school students - I helped several high school students obtain the French Baccalauréat. Moreover, during the whole of last year, I conducted oral examinations of students in preparatory class, in Mathematics, at a very high level. With my students, I like to go over the main points seen in class to check whether they have understood everything, and then use those points with exercises. I am available if you require further information Best regards Corentin
