Indian Classical music/Carnatic music was perhaps the less known forms of music to the world until 2000. Recently, there has been significant efforts and interest by people to know more about it and even learn this form of music because it gives you peace and even makes you a rounded individual when you learn it.

I am a trained classical/Carnatic singer with experience for more than 12 years now. I am open to teaching for any age group from children to adults. I'm sure children will have a great time learning with me and I look forward to sharing with you all the essence this music can offer. About Me

When I first started earning, I realized the importance of a good teacher, and only with a good mentor, you can learn the maximum. I am so fortunate I had the opportunity to learn with a great teacher and I wish to reciprocate the same to my students. I am fun to talk to and a very jovial person and also very efficient when it comes to working. I can teach Carnatic music in a fun-filled manner and I look forward to sharing with my 12 years of experience in this field.

Education

I did my Bachelors' in Biotechnology at SASTRA University, India and was working for a year at Zifo RnD Solutions, India and I'm currently pursuing Master's in Molecular Biology, Lund university - Karolinska Institutet.

I teach every genre of music at every level, using my 10 years of experience as a teacher, and 20 as a professional musician. Lessons are designed in accordance to the every student's needs. I am a clarinet player, graduated teacher and experienced concert performer, I offer clarinet lessons for all levels and different genres (classical music, film music, klezmer music, folk music, electronic music...).

I have dedicated myself to perfecting my art under the guidance of internationally renowned artists and I have performed in chamber music groups as well as in orchestra and as a soloist throughout Europe, United States and Japan.

We can work together on the instrument, breathing, resonance, mouth, fingers, technique, relaxation, posture, solfège, musical interpretation, stage presence...
It is not necessary to know the music theory to start the clarinet,
I can follow you from beginner level to preparation for examination and conservatory exams to advanced specialization classes.
Pieces can be adapted to the levels and desires of the students.

I am available every day and move to your home at your convenience.

Thao is a successful performing pianist and teacher, who is working internationally across Europe.

Thao grew up in Warsaw (Poland) where she started the piano and studied at the Chopin Academy. Thao also studied at the Manhattan School of Music (New York, USA), and the Royal College of Music (London, UK). As a performing pianist, Thao has performed recitals and concerts in Poland, the USA, UK, Sweden, and Vietnam.

As a teacher, Thao has helped countless students achieve their very best potential. Many students have been awarded distinctions for ABRSM exams for the piano and Grade 5 theory. Students have also been offered music scholarships to leading independent schools in the London area. I have access to many past papers. I have also created exercises to help my students. When a students stuggle with an exercise, I create exercises to help master it. Theory should be easy! I aim to have students take Grade 5 theory in 2 terms.

I also studied in the USA at the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and Chicago College of Performing Arts.

I work as a professional viola player across the UK and Scandinavia, with such orchestras as Swedish Radio Orchestra, Stockholm Philharmonic, Bergen, Norwegian Radio, Gothenburg Symphony, Norrkoping Symphony, Jonkoping Sinfonietta, Aarhus Symphony, and English National Ballet Philharmonic. I am also a music arranger and transcriber.

I can give lessons once or twice a week. Please note that twice a week does allow for fast progression.
