Mathematics makes our life orderly and prevents chaos. Certain qualities that are nurtured by mathematics are power of reasoning, creativity, abstract or spatial thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving ability and even effective communication skills.

Jazz piano is an excellent route for people who are looking for a less book-focused, more aural approach to learning an instrument. I can tutor beginners to the piano or classical-converts who are looking to experience jazz by condensing my education down into core principles. This method of learning helps you move away from the books and to start enjoying the piano with more confidence and skill. I teach with a strong emphasis on theory and aural listening and with my resources I can take you through basics to more advanced lessons. I'm also fully equipped to teach music theory classes and to tutor in GCSE and A-Level music (composition, particularly) as well as teaching early level classical piano (up to ABRSM Grade 6). Whether you're looking for chord skills on the piano or want to become an improviser, these are the lessons for you!

About the classes: Created for complete beginners and those with some experience of Piano and Singing technique, this classes serve as an ideal starting point to develop piano and singing technique, to work on improvisation skills and sight-reading, to learn in depth music theory and chords and also to explore various music genres, to build up personal portfolio, self-confidence and stage presence. Special programme for younger beginners “Music Wonderland” has been specifically designed for children as young as 3.5 up to 7 years old. In addition I offer classes on music yoga and therapy which bring harmony, balance and open creative powers of an artist. Classes take place individually and in a group.

The sessions will be fully personalised, and will be designed to your specific needs; whether you need to start again from the basics of A Level or need someone to go through past paper questions with you. The sessions will be held online via a shared interactive whiteboard. I am a very well qualified maths teacher, with a first class degree in Mathematics (University of Birmingham) and a Masters in Teaching Studies. I have been teaching maths in UK schools for the past five years and am very familiar with all aspects of the A Level syllabus. I am a very patient teacher who explains mathematics topics clearly and am very confident in breaking down difficult concepts to make them easier to understand.

The first class will serve as an introductory class where I will get to know your language skills level and your language objectives. I will adapt each of the following classes to these two factors and include a variety of reading, written, and oral exercises.

Maths is one of the core subjects in education and a certain level must be obtained by everyone to progress smoothly. I will be providing Maths Tutoring and Exam preparation for all levels up to A Levels. I also provide Product Design Tutoring, Exam preparation and Coursework advice for all levels up to A Levels. I aim to challenge the students thought process, progress them in areas of weakness and fine tune their strengths without overwhelming them. I will provide homework and feedback reports after every lesson. More or less work can be provided on demand.

I currently offer teaching and mentoring in the following areas: - Music/Audio Production - Guitar Performance - Music Theory My methods are generally adapted to each individual’s needs and objectives, however, they do not include classical music training approaches, such as sight reading or formal classical music training. Instead, my approach focuses on developing an intuitive understanding of music, through understanding elements such as intervalic structures, mathematical permutations, analogies derived from other disciplines etc. The ultimate goal of my approach is to allow the individual to form a way of thinking, which will allow she/he to compose, produce or play ANY type of music.

This is a class designed to learn French in an active way! I am used to teaching young children to young adults. I have done tutoring with young children with disabilities in French and in English in different subjects (history, mathematics, french grammar, english grammar, etc). I enjoy teaching by connecting to people and really understanding their level and their needs. I'll evaluate your level and will provide you exercices to do or movies/videos to watch to develop your hearing and prononciation. I believe learning is about being curious and wanting more so I hope to achieve this through this class! I can do the whole class in French or in English, you choose. This is not a class to be anxious or stressed, learning must be a fun process!

If you have been looking to pick up a pair of drumsticks for the first time ever, or if you used to play the drums and feel like getting back to it, or even if you feel like you've hit a plateau on your drumming and are not sure how to take it to the next level, I want to help you. I am passionate about music and drums and I am also very excited to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over all these years. As I currently have the chance to take on a few more students, I am happy to teach people of all ages and levels, as I'd love to inspire more people to play music, be it as a dream or just a hobby. My lessons are light and fun, but educative and will help you reach your goals. The topics I cover range between learning songs, rudiments, coordination, reading, even music theory if you'd like, and anything else you have in mind (the philosophy behind creativity and drumming is definitely on the table!). If you have any questions, don't hesitate in asking. I will get back to you as soon as possible! Nuno.

After finishing A-Level French, I moved to Paris in order to live in the country whose language and culture I have long been fascinated by. I worked there as an Au-Pair, and attended literature/philosophy courses at the Sorbonne, really securing my level of French. Since starting my English degree at university, I have continued to take a French course to maintain the level I was able to reach. I am keen to transfer my passion for the language in a way which can encourage students to engage their brains and appetites to acquire language and give them dexterity with it. My main aim is to develop a mutual confidence and provide a platform for the learner to spring off into a higher level of language.

Hello, daughter of a teacher, at ease with children and teenagers I came to London as an au pair where I discovered a patient, an ease, and a pedagogy allowing me to help children in their educational path. Graduated with a master's degree in business management, before launching out in my own professional career, I would like to help children / adolescents or adults to regain rigor, a rhythm as well as the pleasure of working. The current crisis has affected everyone, children of different social classes, of all levels and may have increased the shortcomings / difficulties of some. So I decided to put aside my professional goals in the trade to devote myself to refresher training, personalized follow-up and regular support from others. For children in primary I can help on all subjects, offer personalized content according to the level and difficulties of the child. For children in college, I can help with all subjects except mathematics. Do not hesitate to contact me for a more in-depth exchange. Hoping to be able to collaborate together, to help you or your child develop on the way to school.
