I studied flute at Musikene (San Sebastian) and Codarts (Rotterdam). About Me

Hi! I'm Marina, I'm 25 years old and I'm from the Basque Country (North of Spain).
After I finished my bachelor's degree in Musikene (San Sebastian) in 2021, I came to the Netherlands to continue my master's degree with flutists Juliette Hurel, Julie Moulin and Wim Steinmann.
I currently work as an orchestral and chamber musician between the Netherlands and Spain, collaborating with ensembles such as the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, Residentie Orkest, Spanish National Orchestra, and the Basque National Orchestra, among others. I am also part of Asaba Duo, with which I perform concerts across the Netherlands and Spain.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.

Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.

I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.

Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score.

Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.

I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training.

Currently students from 4 to 75 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.
