About Me

Hello, my name is Andrea and I'm from Spain. I am 22 years old and studying international relations at Leiden University. When I was 15 I lived for 1 year in the United States and last summer I obtained my advanced degree (C1) in English. I have been teaching English and Spanish for more than 3 years with excellent results. I am a responsible, hardworking student who is used to helping my friends when they have difficulties in a subject.

Most of my students are below 18 years old and I tend to get along pretty well with kids, I value discipline but I also teach using games, conversation, and other "alternative methods".

Education

I have studied in Spain all my life, in a little town in Burgos(where arguably Spanish was created). When I was 15 I studied for 1 year in the US and right now Im doing my undergraduate in International Relations in Deusto (Bilbao). This year I'm doing my Erasmus+ exchange year at Leiden university.

I have plenty of experience tutoring people since I've been more than 3 years tutoring english and Spanish. Im a Native Spanish speaker and 3 years ago I obtained my C1 title at english with the Cambridge University.

My linguistic spectrum consists of English, French and Spanish, which I master both orally and written. In order for the student to learn as easily and efficiently as possible, homework exercises will be given after each lesson, drafted according to the parts that the students wishes to master best (speaking, reading, listening, writing). This way, the student will benefit from a fluid learning process and, with dedication, will be able to excel in Spanish in a short period of time.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old.
