I am a passionate guitarist with 12 years of experience and offer individual guitar lessons for all ages – tailored to your pace and musical preferences (e.g., pop, rock, jazz – unfortunately, I do not offer classical guitar).
What's waiting for you:
- Lessons for beginners & advanced students
- Technique, rhythm, chords, songs, improvisation
- On request: song accompaniment, music reading, harmony theory
- Patient and friendly atmosphere
About me:
I'm Yuliya! I graduated from the University of Arts in Graz with a bachelor's degree in jazz guitar. Before that, I studied rock and jazz guitar for three and a half years at the College of Music in Minsk. While studying, I worked as a guitar teacher at a music school for two years. After moving to Graz, I taught a lot both privately and at a music school.

Extra information
Classes take place either at the student's home (Graz districts Innere Stadt, Jakomini, St. Leonhard, and partly in Geidorf/Gries/Libenau/St. Peter) or online. We will determine during our initial communication whether your location is suitable for weekly visits.
All equipment for playing the electric guitar must be available on site (at least guitar, picks, music stand, amplifier, cables).
Recommended lesson frequency for beginners: weekly! At higher levels, we can meet less frequently so you have more time for learning and practicing.

About Me
I started playing electric guitar at the age of 11. I was a total rock fan at first, but later fell in love with jazz as well, and now I enjoy playing both—although, due to my jazz guitar studies at the University of the Arts in Graz, I’m currently more involved in jazz.
My first guitar teacher didn’t just teach me how to play; she was also someone I could trust. We talked a lot about music and everything surrounding it. That really fueled my passion and kept me inspired. I try to create the same kind of atmosphere in my own lessons—one that is open, supportive, and based on mutual respect and being on equal footing with my students.

Education
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Jazz Guitar at the University of the Arts in Graz. Before that, I studied guitar for 3.5 years with a focus on rock and jazz at a music college in Minsk. Alongside my studies, I worked as a guitar teacher at a music school for two years, and after moving to Graz, I’ve taught many private students.
