Lessons in Graz!
Hello! Have you always wanted to learn the saxophone, clarinet, flute (recorder)? Would you like a learning atmosphere that builds on positivity and leads to the desired learning success while having fun with the instrument?
Then come to me for lessons on your desired woodwind instrument and learn jazz and/or classical with me!
I also offer music theory classes (jazz theory or classical music theory) and early music education.

Briefly to me:
My musical career began in elementary school, later followed by the music secondary school in Weiz and then the music high school in Graz. At the age of 6 I learned to play the recorder, until I switched to the saxophone at the age of 8. After studying at the music school in Gleisdorf, I went to the Graz Conservatory and after graduating from the music high school, I studied at the University of Music & Performing Arts Vienna (MDW), where I did vocal and instrumental pedagogy (IGP) at the Institute for Popular Music with a focus Studied classical sax.

I took my own instrumental lessons from Richard Winkler, Wolfgang Puschnig, Martin Fuss, Klaus Dickbauer and Fabian Rucker, among others. There are also countless workshops with e.g. Branford Masalis, Randy Brecker, Torsten Skringer etc.
In my career, instruments such as piano, clarinet and flute were added.
I'm a professional musician myself and play in bands such as "Candlelight Ficus", "Die Ranzler", "Moneka Group" and "Matho & Das Vienna Dancehall Orchestra", as well as jobs with big bands, DJ's and much more.

I'm looking forward to your message. Love, David.

Together we can improve your flute sound, fulfill your repertoire wishes, simply learn the instrument and most importantly - have fun with music!
Everyone is welcome - beginners and advanced learners, we will find the right form of teaching. We will make music together, read music and discuss the basics of music theory.
I'm Kate, I come from Latvia, I've been playing the flute for 13 years and I'm currently studying with the principal flutist of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz. I love dealing with people and passing on my music knowledge and experiences.

I am pleased to meet you and that you have chosen music and flute!
Kate

Hi! My name is Anže. I am 24 years old and I come from Slovenia. At the moment I am doing my Bachelor in Jazz saxophone at KUG.

Do you want to learn how to play saxophone or clarinet? You already know something and want to know even more? Do you like music theory or maybe you love to arrange music?

Clarinet is a wonderful wind instrument that has a clear and warm sound and can play music of various genres. It sounds great in classical music, jazz, pop, folk music and many many others.

What can I offer on my lessons for the beginners:
- Basics of the clarinet embouchure and breathing;
- Forming of the sound;
- Musical theory knowledge which is needed to read the music;
- Easy and enjoyable repertoire.
- Tips for choosing the instrument and the setup (Mouthpiece, reeds) That’s really important!
- A lot of joy :)

And also for the intermediate students:

- Help with any piece of clarinet repertoire.
- Further improvement of performing skills (exercises, studies, sight-reading etc..)

If you are interested, just write me! I always opened for the communication!

There is nothing more beautiful than passing on your passion and your knowledge to future generations.
I have always wanted to be able to give my students everything that I also received as a student.
The most important thing for me is to see that my students go home happy and with answers.

With 4 years of teaching experience and a master's degree, I offer clarinet lessons for beginners and advanced players.
My main goal is to pass on the love of music. The lessons are therefore very individually designed and range from classical to jazz, from chamber music to polyphonic recordings.

If I have aroused your interest, please send me a message! :)

You always wanted to learn to play flute, you have an audition or exam coming up or just want to get some new input on your playing?
I am here to guide you towards your goals!

The lessons are tailored towards the goals and needs of the student and based on the DILS school (“Dentro Il Suono” founded by Giampaolo Pretto) of flute playing. Through specific excercises we will make transform your flute sound into your own personal voice.
We will work on technical aspects and repertoire we will choose together, fitting the current level of the student.

Lessons can be conducted in German, English and Dutch.
I will based in Graz from October on but occasionally I can teach in Groningen (Netherlands) or Paderborn (Germany).

I am a qualified music teacher and flautist with 20 years of experience in flute teaching. Are you beginners, late starters, intermediate or already advanced level with flute playing? In every age group, in every level you welcome to learn and play the flute with me.
I studied flute and music in Turkey and then in France. I completed my master's degree and proficiency in art degrees. I have the title of Associate Professor in music education. I taught flute, flute ensemble and chamber music for 20 years.

I recently completed my studies in transverse flute at the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory of Music in Venice. I will move to Graz for a further master's degree and am available for lessons in music theory and practice. Being very sociable and positive, it comes naturally to me to convey the passion that music can express. I am available for lessons for children and young people of all ages.

With more than ten years of teaching experience – from eight-year-old children to teenagers and students, up to 88-year-olds – I have had the honor of accompanying many people on their musical journey and helping them develop and cultivate a skill that can enrich their lives in the long term.

Whether you're just starting out with the flute, have been playing for several years, are studying at a music academy and would like additional support and motivation, or want to return to your instrument after a long break – I would be delighted to accompany you on your journey. Together we can set goals, create a clear path, and work towards them with joy, curiosity, and mutual trust.

In a world that's constantly accelerating and full of information and distractions, I want to create a safe space with our flute lessons where you can find peace, reconnect with yourself, and become more consciously connected to your breath. At the same time, you'll improve your concentration, stimulate your mind, and develop skills that can benefit you in other areas of your life. :)

In my lessons, I also want to introduce you to the beauty of art and show you how music is connected to other art forms. Together, we can explore the musical languages of different eras and cultures – from the Baroque and Romantic periods through folk music to the present day. My aim is to awaken and nurture a longing for beauty, for its perception, creation, and cultivation – with the desire to refine your senses and enrich your life. :)
