I offer in-home piano practice support for children and beginners in Gothenburg. I have been playing the piano for 14 years and have achieved ABRSM Piano Grade 8. I am currently studying Embedded Electronic System Design at Chalmers University of Technology.

My sessions are especially suitable for students who already have a regular piano teacher but would benefit from additional guidance between lessons. During my bachelor’s studies, I also worked part-time providing piano practice support, helping students practise their pieces, follow their teacher’s assignments and develop better practice habits.

I can help with rhythm, fingering, sight-reading, technique, metronome practice and difficult passages. I adapt each session to the student’s age, level and current repertoire, with the aim of making practice structured, effective and enjoyable.

My goal is not to replace the student’s regular piano teacher, but to help them practise more independently, stay motivated and make steady progress.

Sessions are available in English or Mandarin Chinese and take place at the student’s home in Gothenburg.

I am patient, structured and easy to communicate with. I enjoy helping children and beginners build confidence at the piano and develop better practice habits. Before moving to Sweden I finished my undergrad at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and have had 5 years of experience working professionally as a musician across the UK.
I have plenty of experience teaching the French horn privately (my main instrument) to any age and I was the Brass teacher at a private school in Guildford for two years, where I taught kids playing on all brass instruments.

Along the way, I have been fortunate to learn from renowned violinists including Professor Itzhak Rashkovsky, Yumi Sasaki, Chan Yoong Han, Sally Thomas, Marja Inkinen Engström, and Øyvor Volle.

I hold two violin performance diplomas (LTCL and LRSM), a distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 piano performance, and was awarded the top Ash Music Scholarship at Imperial College London, where I studied violin under Professor Rashkovsky. During my time there, I won the Imperial College Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition, performing Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto in Helsinki, London, and Southampton. I have also given solo recitals and performed extensively in chamber ensembles, with concerts ranging from Sibelius’ house in Finland to venues across the UK.

My deepest passion is chamber music, and one of my main motivations as a teacher is to make classical music enjoyable and approachable.
