Hi my name is Rory, I am 27 years old and have been playing bass since the age of 10, recieving lessons from a professional. I then began playing guitar when 15 and built up to a high standard of playing. Being competent in tabliture, scales, keys, and a lot of the theory and technical aspects of these instruments, I am offering lessons for all ability lessons and ages. I have been teaching for just over a year now to students from as young as 6 and as old as 50, some with special needs and learning difficulties, motor function deficiencies etc. This has given me an excellent window into the life of teaching and tutoring music and being able to discover what allows you to learn most effectively.

I have played music all my life hailing from a Jazz family upbringing, and now I am at the stage where I get to play amazing shows and enjoy all the beautiful parts of music. This has inspired me to become a teacher, which I started over a year ago now. I want to share the amazing parts of music with as many people as possible and I find teaching is a great way to do this. I am a classical singer who developed many artistic skills and I am ready to share them with you! Classical technique can be the basis for any type of vocal genre. My goal is to find an individual key to each student and provide a personal approach to every type of voice. The plan will vary depending on different levels of student, but mainly will be focused on discovering your true voice, vocal warm-ups, practice patterns, interpretation and character of the piece, language coaching, physical engagement of a singer. High School Math can be confusing for students. Often there is not enough time in school to repeat the content and practice enough, for the students to gain confidence and a routine in solving mathematical problems. With my help and guidance, any confusion will be cleared and we will practice problem solving until you are confident and understand the material. The lessons will be tailored to your needs and their structure depends highly on you: usually it is a mixture of repeating the content, solving exercises together, summarising important concepts and talking about exercises you tried yourself at home. The topics, content, pace and methods of learning will be adjusted to your needs, ensuring that you get the most out of my lessons. Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
