About Me

I am a musician can and teacher based in Glasgow. I have a passion for music, playing a variety of different genres, from rock to folk to classical. I love to share this passion through teaching and show others what is so great about music and guitar in particular.

Education

2:1 Bachelor of Music Degree (Honours) from the University of Glasgow, beginning in 2018 and graduating in 2022 and specialising in both performance and composition.

I have also experience in teaching students with special needs.

I am a 4th year music BMus (Honours) student at the University of Glasgow. If you are interested in learning how to sing many diverse styles of music, I can provide lessons in a fun and nurturing environment. I teach popular styles of music such as pop, country, rock, jazz and blues and can also teach classical singing. I also teach beginner acoustic and classical guitar. I teach music theory up to ABRSM Grade 5 Level.

Hi my name is Rory, I am 27 years old and have been playing bass since the age of 10, recieving lessons from a professional. I then began playing guitar when 15 and built up to a high standard of playing. Being competent in tabliture, scales, keys, and a lot of the theory and technical aspects of these instruments, I am offering lessons for all ability lessons and ages. This has inspired me to become a teacher, which I started over a year ago now. I want to share the amazing parts of music with as many people as possible and I find teaching is a great way to do this.
