About Me
As a freelance teacher on the Apprentus platform since 2011, I have developed an educational project in French for individuals, including children and adults.
In parallel, I intervened in schools and associations to support the student in their school environment, with the collaboration of relevant education professionals.
Currently training in language and office skills, I am developing my skills in parallel with the aim of providing better support to the student.
I am always available to follow the study project and help to build self-confidence so that I am able to successfully achieve the objectives set beforehand.
The resources I use are materials, books, or any other useful documents:
With a strong academic background in primary education, I have been working as a tutor for over 10 years, supporting students experiencing difficulties. Following a rewarding experience in administration, alongside this initial work, I specialized as an adult education trainer.
I love my job because it allows me to reach and help as many families as possible, an intergenerational audience, towards the realization of their personal and professional projects, in Switzerland, in Europe, but also, in the rest of the world, thanks to new technologies.
My responsibilities include:
1. Accompany several students in different schools, inclusively or exclusively, upon request, in collaboration with the academic support coordinator, providing the necessary methods and materials:
• Supporting the student in class
• Attend all lessons and group activities as much as possible.
• Rephrase the explanations and instructions (English/French)
• Refocus attention on the task at hand
• Ensure that interactions between the student and their peers are encouraged.
• To provide the student with the necessary academic knowledge to reach the expected level
• Teach French daily as a foreign language (reading, vocabulary, grammar...) and math (the basics of numeration and calculation)
2. Provide various homework help sessions to several students individually, several times a week, with the collaboration of the administrative assistant and the parents:
• Master all aspects of the subject taught (technical, theoretical, practical)
• Adapt your lessons in a methodical and pedagogical way
• Prepare a program tailored to each student and follow it in order to note their progress
progress and to inform the parents or the administration
• Personalize the content of your course according to the level and needs of your students
• Managing time
3. Design online professional training modules for adults on various topics (team management, project management and tools) and teach French as a foreign language:
• Test basic knowledge (if necessary)
• Learn and master the tasks related to the job
• Design training videos
• Train and inform learners about changes and innovations
• Raise awareness of sustainable development among a broad audience
• Conduct the evaluation and analysis of the results
• To take stock, conclude or close the mission
