About Me

What is a teacher to me?

Hmm... good question... I think a teacher is someone capable of transmitting the cultural heritage of a city or country. They help us choose a career, understand what a good citizen is, and develop skills like autonomy and self-reliance. They create connections between people within their community, their society in miniature (=the classroom).

Looking back, I think I drew inspiration from my teachers and my experiences in primary and secondary school to be able to design courses resembling what I consider good to be taught in a classroom.

During my nine years in the field of education, I had the opportunity to support educational projects, in collaboration with schools, administrative services, parents, and teaching staff. The goal was to facilitate learning for individual students or children in group classes.

The idea of becoming a private tutor came to me suddenly, after an observation internship experience in a school, experiences in primary education which allowed me to observe the learning and teaching problems of public schools.

I use my skills to facilitate the student's journey, helping them overcome their obstacles: my sense of observation, analysis, written and oral communication, as well as my sensitivity, help me to understand a given situation and to propose solutions adapted to the student.

Of course, organisation is a key point: with the digital support of Apprentus and other specific digital tools, I manage with the parent and the student to produce content, receive and share important information during the week, outside of lessons and during lessons.
