Hello, I'm Walter, a 23-year-old from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. I recently completed my professional diploma in flute performance in Las Palmas, where I honed my skills and deepened my love for music. With a rich background in various wind bands, I've cultivated a strong foundation in ensemble playing and musical collaboration. Teaching has been my passion for the past five years, and I find great joy in sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for music with others. Despite currently pursuing a career as an airline pilot, my connection to teaching and music remains unwavering. Hello!

I'm an award-winning Canadian classical pianist and experienced teacher offering piano lessons for all levels, beginner to advanced. I have performed with orchestra and has a soloist in various festivals across Canada, Germany, Austria, Spain and Switzerland, in addition to being a prize winner in numerous competitions, as well as the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

Having over 15 years of experience as a teacher (including my own private studio and a teaching assistant at the University of Montreal), I am very dedicated to my students of each person.

My doctoral researches pertains to the neuropsychology of learning music (specifically, exploring the most efficient ways to learn a skill), thus I am thoroughly equipped to provide all sorts of tips and tricks from my research and personal experiences :)

I work in the Geneva area and am studying for a Masters in Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music.

Throughout my schooling, I was able to develop my knowledge and my pleasure of playing the trumpet. Meeting great trumpet players and teachers allowed me to understand multiple ways of approaching this instrument.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).

Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points:

-Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear
- Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords
