Music has always been an integral part of my life. I am a cellist in the 1st year of a Master's degree at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève. I started the piano at the age of 7. I took private lessons for 7 years and a year at the Geneva Conservatory of Music. From 2019 to 2021, I took piano lessons at the Haute Ecole de Musique de Genève for 2 years as a secondary instrument. As a musician, I would like to be able to introduce the melodious beauty of the piano to people of all ages. I obtained my Master's degree in Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music in June 2024.

On several occasions, I had the opportunity to work on the organization and development of group activities with young people. These experiences aroused in me a great interest in education, which led me to make the decision to become a teacher by doing a master's degree in pedagogy at the University of Valencia, thus renewing and reaffirming my passion for this domain. I have extensive experience in teaching children from 6 to 18 years old, and in other words, there is a great experience for workers with groups of adolescents and children, while maintaining creativity, dynamism and perseverance in my work. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central.
