These conversation classes will be based on a personalized approach since it is about you and your level.
I will ask you what you would like to learn or improve in particular, the subjects that interest you, the motivations behind these conversation classes, etc. in order to be able to establish the most appropriate way for you to improve your English.
Through a meeting at your home, mine or in a public place of your choice, I will assess your level, then, by studying your profile and interests, I will send you articles to read, films to watch, artist biographies or works of art to study for example, so that we can discuss them in the next lesson.
I can also provide translation work from French to English (vice-versa) and can prepare you for a possible interview if you wish.
English is an easy language to learn, especially when starting from French, which is much more complex. Conversation is precisely what helps you relax from the awkwardness you might feel when you're uncomfortable with a foreign language. Remember that the most important thing at the beginning isn't the accent, but being able to communicate your ideas. From this first step, comes perfection.
My lessons will not take place without any judgment of your initial level, whatever it may be: we all start one day!
I guarantee real progress quickly.
I look forward to meeting you!

These conversation classes will be based on a personalized approach, it is about you and your own level. I will be attentive to what your aims are, the topics that are of interest to you, the motivations behind these lessons and so forth, in order to establish the most relevant way for you to perfect your English.

Through a first meeting, I will assess your level and then, through an in-depth analysis of your profile, I will send you articles to read, films to watch, artists' biographies or art pieces to study for example, that we could discuss during the following classes.
I can also provide translation work from French to English (vice versa) and can prepare you for a possible interview.

English is an accessible language, certainly not as complex as French. The main purpose of these conversation classes is to relax and free oneself from the sense of judgment one can feel when not fully confident with the language.

You must remember that the most important thing is not the accent, but to succeed in communicating your ideas. Once this first milestone is reached, then comes the improvement of your accent.

My lessons will happen organically, without any preconceptions regarding your initial level, whatever that may be: we all have to start somewhere!

With a little patience and stamina, I guarantee your real progress quickly.

I look forward to meeting you soon!

Hello, my name is Benoit, I am a jazz & contemporary music guitarist and guitar teacher for more than 15 years in music schools, associations and at home.

I studied Jazz at the Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatory and graduated from the American School Of Modern Music.

I seek with my lessons to develop your desire to make music and your creativity. My courses and content will allow you to immerse yourself in an exciting practice. Pleasure and requirement are the keywords of my learning method. You will quickly be able to play a current, rich and varied repertoire. In addition to private lessons, I provide you with free videos, scores & tablatures.

Who are the classes for?

Children:
From 7 years old, learning notes in a playful and progressive way. We explore music theory, tablatures, rhythm and melody thanks to card games specially developed for the youngest: recognition, 7 families, pair games, Memory, etc. Your child discovers the instrument and the technique while being able to quickly play familiar tunes! Classes usually last 30 minutes.

Teen:
The goal is not to spend too much time on the theoretical aspect of music theory (reading notes etc.) but to see the basic techniques of the instrument in order to be able to play and have fun quickly.

From the first lessons you will play the pieces of your choice, I will guide you and accompany you. Pleasure and satisfaction guaranteed!

Adults:
Have you always dreamed of learning to play the guitar? You played when you were young and want to get back to it? Did the "conservatory" method disappoint you or does it not suit you? My approach and my experience will allow you to learn or deepen the instrument and your knowledge at your own pace thanks to a multitude of pieces, scores, playbacks and tutorials. This will help you to develop or perfect the essential techniques for playing the guitar and also to play a repertoire to your liking. Classes usually last 60 minutes.

If you are self-employed or have flexible working hours during the day, I can come to your place of work. I can also give video lessons to coach you or if you are on the go.

For what levels?

Beginner:
You quickly take the instrument in hand, I guide you to acquire in a few sessions the technical gestures and the basic notions in order to be autonomous with your guitar.

Intermediate:
You develop a repertoire in line with your tastes and desires. I advise you and challenge you to make you progress.

Advanced:
You improve your technique thanks to the study of statements of reference guitarists and different Jazz / Rock / Blues / Gypsy styles such as: John Scofield, Wes Montgomery, Peter Bernstein, George Benson, Django Reinhardt etc...
Together we work on the writing and the balance of musical phrases, chord sequences, notions of tension and resolution, which will allow you to create your own music and refine your style. I advise you on the right software and musical software (writing/Sibelius, tabalture/Guitarpro, Recording/Ableton, creation/Reason etc...)

How are the lessons going?

Face to face, at your home, mine, or video, I adapt to your possibilities and your wishes.

Those who wish to meet other musicians can join a group. I also organize courses (between 8 and 10 people) during school holidays, on various subjects: Deepening your repertoire, improvising with pentatonics, group games, picking techniques, etc.
Do not hesitate to contact me if you want more information!

Musically & see you soon!

Do you want to progress in law, pass your exams, prepare for the CRFPA or simply finally understand what is really expected of a law student?
I offer you personalized support based on dual expertise: **excellent legal training and several years of experience in international business law within large international groups.

Holder of a **Master's degree in trilingual business law**, with dual training in business law and European law, a **British LL.M. in international law**, and having practiced as a lawyer, I then joined large groups as legal manager and then legal director in international environments in Europe and the United States.

**I teach you to understand the law, to reason legally, and above all, to be able to present this reasoning in writing or orally.**

Each program is tailored to your specific needs: a refresher session, intensive exam preparation, or regular follow-up will not all address the same requirements. Together, we will define the most appropriate format based on your objective.

### A method adapted to your level and your goal

Each course begins with the precise identification of your needs: level, subject matter, difficulties, deadline and objective.

We then work on:

• understanding of legal concepts and mechanisms;
• the construction of a sound legal argument;
• the methodology of university exercises;
• case studies, essays, commentaries and summary notes;
• the tutorials and the preparation for the practice exams;
• revisions and preparation for midterms and exams;
• the analysis and correction of your papers, with concrete explanations on the points to improve;
• preparation for oral presentations;
• the organization of work and revisions.

The idea is to gradually give you the **right reflexes**, so that you become able to work efficiently and independently.

### High school: discovering law and preparing for your future studies

For high school students, I can intervene both in the learning of legal subjects and in the **preparation for university entrance**.

Specifically, we can work on:

• the discovery of legal studies and their requirements;
• methodology and basic legal concepts;
• preparing for the baccalaureate exam;
• the choice of a specialization or field of study;
• preparation for entry into law school;
• the working methods to adopt from the first year.

I can also support students and their parents in a concrete reflection on their **study plan and their legal orientation**.

### University: from first year of undergraduate studies to Master's degree

The support may cover, in particular, civil law, the law of obligations, contract law, commercial law, business law, company law, European law, international law, labor law, administrative law, constitutional law, as well as legal methodology.

I can support you before an exam, during the preparation of a tutorial or a practice exam, during a period of intensive revision or simply over several weeks to consolidate your method.

### CRFPA / Bar Association

For candidates for the CRFPA, support can be particularly targeted at **method, training and correction**: practical case, dissertation, commentary, summary note, preparation for oral exams and organization of revisions.

### Beyond the classroom: building your own path

My experience as a lawyer and then as a legal director also allows me to support you on topics that are rarely taught at university:

**How to choose your Master's program? How to build a coherent academic path? How to find your first internship? How to prepare for an interview at a law firm or company? How to write a CV and cover letter that truly highlight your profile?**

We can work together on your CV, cover letters, interview preparation and internship search strategy.

For students who wish to work in an international environment, I can also prepare you to work in **legal English**, to apply to international courses and to work in an English-speaking professional context.

### A truly international experience

English is one of my working languages. I was educated in New York, completed my master's degree in England, and have worked in the United States as well as in various European countries.

I can therefore assist you in both French and English, particularly with regard to **Legal English, international business law, contracts and negotiation**.

### My approach

**High standards in content. Clarity in explanations. Compassionate support.**

I believe that a student should be able to ask all their questions, including those that seem "obvious", in order to truly progress.

My goal is for you to leave each class knowing **what you have understood, what you still need to work on and how you are going to work on it**.

Whether you are a high school student, law student, CRFPA candidate or already engaged in a legal career, we will build together a support tailored to your level and your objective.

My support doesn't end with the law course.

For high school students, I can help prepare for university entrance and choose a coherent academic path.

For students, I can assist with bachelor's/master's degree choices, application preparation, CVs and cover letters, internship searches and interviews.

For advanced students, I can also offer the perspective of a professional who has worked for several years in international legal departments.
