➤ Learn French with a successful technique: the main objective is to acquire bases or improve your level in French (written & oral: pronunciation, comprehension, language construction, communication, conjugation, grammar & vocabulary). It is also to understand the cultural specificities of Switzerland & France.

➤ Whether it is for work or leisure, the classes are adjusted to the initial diagnosis and to your needs.

➤ The method focuses on your own goals and:

• are adjusted to your own rhythm, with (funny) oral and writing exercises
• help to improve your everyday/practical skills
• on interactivity: you learn much more quickly with private sessions and you develop listening and vocabulary skills in an effective way
• these classes are customized courses to create an environment adjusted to each person, to meet your individual needs & requirements, and to learn French effectively.

➤ Statistically, you will be able to notice that you have progressed with these private classes, after 2 or 3 classes (based on our 2023 survey).

Currently a fourth-year medical student at the University of Fribourg, I offer tutoring services for primary, middle, and high school students.
The idea of giving tutoring and offering to help is something I will enjoy doing. In addition, I like to share my methods and my knowledge with children and young students so that they understand and succeed as best as possible in their school tasks.

To help the student to perform and understand his homework, my methodology is the explanation with concrete situations so that the student understands and builds an image of the situation. For example, drawing in mathematics makes it possible to better visualize situations. When it comes to languages, the best is the explanation using our own words because the explanations in the manuals can sometimes be quite complex. The incomprehension of literary matters obliges to take again what one does not understand and to try to simplify it, to memorize it and to learn it in all softness and calm.

Math, physics and science courses for all levels

Having years of experience in teaching and private tutoring, both in person and via webcam, with proven and verifiable results, I offer a qualified and competent approach for all levels (high school, college, bachelor's and a selection of Master's courses).

I have a PhD in applied mathematics and nanophotonics (ETH Zurich), which allows me to combine the rigor of fundamental mathematics with a concrete vision of cutting-edge physics.

My primary focus is on methodology, with a rigorous, personalized approach adapted to each student's pace, ensuring progress while rebuilding confidence: identifying weaknesses, organizing time, and managing priorities. I also offer personalized coaching and follow-up via phone, text message, and WhatsApp, remaining available even outside of class hours.

Progress depends on each student (gaining 2 to 3 points out of 6). My work consists of improving the student's academic level, instilling in them a rigorous work method, but also restoring their confidence.

100% of my high school students obtained their baccalaureate, with 75% achieving honors. Some went on to prestigious business (HEC Lausanne) and engineering (EPFL, HEIG-VD, etc.) universities.

Courses are available for all levels, from college to Master's (selection of courses), including targeted and specific preparation for the baccalaureate and all scientific subjects in Bachelor's.

Lessons via webcam or in person

The student can see exactly what I'm writing as if I were right next to them. No matter where you are, as long as we have an internet connection, we can work together.

course:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (Paris-Sorbonne University)
- Master's degree from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich): Engineering degree in Applied Mathematics for Computational Sciences and Engineering
- PhD in applied mathematics and nanophotonics (ETH Zurich)

I have been teaching for 14 years, and I have trained students in both private and group classes since 2012.

My name is Davide, and I'm a researcher with a doctorate in theoretical physics. I've taught at the university level and supervised undergraduate and graduate students, particularly in theoretical physics and mathematics. I especially enjoy teaching: making concepts clear, developing effective study methods, and helping students become more independent learners. I also tutor high school seniors (preparing for their final year of secondary school) in mathematics, using a structured, progressive, and comprehension-oriented approach based on concrete examples and numerous exercises.

A passionate teacher for outstanding success
My motto: "The more questions a student asks, the more they progress."

I firmly believe that learning is a personal journey, and my role is to guide each student towards their full potential. My teaching approach is based on four fundamental pillars:

1. Availability and kindness:
I listen to each student, attentive to their needs and difficulties. I foster a climate of trust and encouragement, where everyone can express themselves and progress at their own pace.

2. Motivation and self-improvement:
I encourage the ambition of each student, regardless of their initial level. I help them set ambitious goals and develop the strategies necessary to achieve them.

3. Time management and results optimization:
I teach effective study methods to maximize learning and success. I emphasize time management and revision planning.

4. Pedagogy of error and learning through experimentation:
I encourage students not to be afraid of making mistakes, because it is by confronting them that they truly progress. I promote autonomy and the active search for solutions.

=>Typical course structure:

Course learning methodology
Training on exercises
Motivation and coaching
Time management and point optimization
Revision program
5 minutes per lesson to build rapport

I dedicate time in each session to understanding the student's interests and building a relationship of trust. This time also helps to create a more relaxed atmosphere and promote learning.

=>Practice tests for optimal preparation:

I offer regular mock exams so that the student can get used to exam conditions and develop their autonomy.

=>My ambition: the success of every student:

I offer you 9 years of experience teaching mathematics, physics, chemistry, and computer science from primary to higher education levels. Mastering each stage of the learning process, I provide comprehensive and individualized support.

=>A wide range of students supported:

I have had the privilege of supporting hundreds of students of all levels and backgrounds, from struggling students to high-potential students.

=> Tangible results and a reputation for excellence:

Last year, from the Matu to EPFL, not forgetting the preparatory classes for the French Baccalaureate, Polytechnique Paris, ENS Ulm and Paris-Saclay (formerly Cachan), 100% of my students passed their year. I am extremely proud of their progress and the fulfillment of their ambitions.

Do not hesitate to contact me.

With a master's degree in literature and over two years of teaching experience, I offer traditional French courses, including a section on spelling, grammar and language skills (both written and oral), as well as writing workshops for more creative work such as writing and producing novels or preparing final projects, dissertations, theses, etc.

For aspiring authors, I work as a reader. I provide constructive feedback and help you refine your text so that it becomes a polished and coherent work.

I advocate a creative and relaxed approach. No silly questions: mistakes are the foundation of your learning. Without them, you won't be able to progress.

Since January 2025, I have been working as a substitute teacher at CPNV, where I teach various courses. This experience has allowed me to develop strong adaptability skills and an ability to build a trusting relationship with my students.

I enjoy designing activities that stimulate thinking, encourage creativity, and allow students to progress at their own pace. I am also sensitive to learning disabilities.

I adapt easily to schedules and needs. Naturally organized and independent, I am proficient in the digital tools used in education and I create my own teaching materials while guaranteeing high-quality schoolwork.
