Anna was born in Riga, Latvia. She was seven years old when she received her first violin lessons. From the age of 14 she began to study in Riga in "Emila Dārziņā" Music College with Professor Ludmilla Girskaja. During her studies she takes part in various competitions such as "Latvian Talents" first prize and "Dvarionas" competition in Lithuania, also master course with Vadim Gluzman After completing her studies in Riga with distinction, she began her further studies in Vienna in 2003 with Professor Jan Pospichal, the concertmaster of the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
