Piano lessons for children and adults. Learn music with joy!
From 99.98 C$ /h
Dear music lovers,
my name is Itxaso and I am a pianist.
I have many years of experience as a piano teacher and have also developed an individual approach here. For me, the lessons are above all an option for learners to try out new things and to experiment with them, regardless of their age. It is particularly important to me to create a pleasant teaching atmosphere and to build a trusting relationship with my students.
Would you like to play the piano and are you looking for private piano lessons? Then you are exactly right here!
Whether piano for beginners, the entrance exam at a music college, perfecting existing knowledge or as a hobby: Above all, it is a great pleasure to be able to play a musical instrument. It takes discipline and work, but it is very enriching and a lot of fun.
I would be very happy to hear from you!
With musical regards,
Itxaso

Extra information
Born in 1986 into a musical family, the versatile pianist Itxaso developed a wide range of musical styles at a young age - from classical to contemporary music to cross-style directions.
At the age of seven, Itxaso received piano lessons from her mother and later from other musicians in her hometown of Pamplona (Spain). At the same time, she began to learn the double bass for ten years. At the “Centro Superior de música del País Vasco” (Musicians), San Sebastian, the musician received her bachelor's degree in piano from Marta Zabaleta and Miguel Borges. She then completed her Master of Music in Piano with Paul Komen at the Prince Claus Conservatoire, Groningen (Netherlands) with the highest distinction.
Together with her group Sonos Quintet, Itxaso won the prize of the Spanish chamber music competition “Acordes Caja Madrid” in 2007 (Brahms Piano Quintet op. 34). A full scholarship from the “Ampliación de estudios artísticos - Navarra” (2010-2013) supported her for several years in continuing her piano career.
Itxaso has performed internationally as a soloist and as a member of chamber music ensembles and various orchestras in Japan, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, the Netherlands Antilles, Belgium and Germany. Her recent venues include the Mayor's House (Essen-Werden), “Carmina Burana” in the Cologne Philharmonic, Beethoven Festival (Bonn), Ruhr Piano Festival “ExtraSchicht” (Bochum), Klangzeit (Münster), and the International Festival for Sound Art (Trier ), Now Festival (Essen), Peter de Grote Festival (Groningen) and TASTE_this piano is not prepared_2019 (Cologne). She has played with the NJO Symphony Orchestra and the Bochum Symphony Orchestra and was a participant in the Ensemble Recherche Akademie (Freiburg) and the Ensemble Kuraia (Bilbao). She has worked with Ensemble S201 and Broken Frames Syndicate.
Itxaso has a Masters in New Music at the Folkwang University of the Arts, Essen, in the class of
Benjamin Kobler, Barbara Maurer and Günter Steinke graduated with top marks.
This year she is planning a CD debut with recordings of virtuoso works for violin and piano (Lorca Duo).
