Since greater proportion of the students population at the colleges are struggling in their performance in maths, I am passionate about teaching maths only for now so as to help as much maths students as possible. I make my first tutorial class to develop rapport with a prospective maths student and to enable me identify the areas they need improvement in their performance. The first half of my tuition starts with the fundamental principles of mathematics, showing the students various clues and hints to use in answering maths questions. Special reference is made to acceptable standard marking scheme so the student can understand each topic better and develop more affection for solving mathematical problems. At the second half of my teaching, several examples are worked together with the student, ensuring that the student is fully engaged in the exercises, assimilating the concepts and contributing meaningfully.
