About Me

I come from Portugal and I have a PhD in Physics from EPFL, Lausanne, where I also worked as a teaching assistant. Before that, I did my Bachelor and Master in Engineering Physics in Lisbon, Portugal, where I worked as a tutor in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Natural Sciences for 4 years, helping students of all levels of education.

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including 4 for a General Physics course in propaedeutics). My name is Claire, I am a 3rd year Bachelor student at EPFL (IC Faculty - Computer Science) and I have held a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences since 2021. In 2018, I was admitted to medical school, a very difficult first year covering mathematics, physics, organic chemistry and biology at a very high level of selection, but I decided instead to do EPFL with hindsight on my situation.
