I know what it's like to get stuck on a problem or not understand a concept even after rereading the material several times because I've been there too. My goal isn't just to give you the answer, but to help you actually understand: whether that means prepping for an exam, working through exercises, or getting a firmer grip on the theory.

A lot of teachers explain things in overly technical or abstract ways. I prefer to break concepts down, rephrase them until they click for you with no judgment if something doesn't sink in on the first try.

I taught math for a year at Phassyl Private Education, working with students from middle school level up through maturité and first-year EPFL. I'm also happy to work with younger students if needed. I'm currently a 3rd-year Microengineering student at EPFL myself, so I know the demands of bachelor's-level coursework and the common traps that cost points on exams.

Every session is tailored to your pace and what you need at the time: reinforcing fundamentals, prepping for a test, or simply revisiting a chapter that didn't quite land the first time.

Always send me the material you'd like to work on (the professor's course notes and exercises) at least 1-2 days in advance, and bring something to write with.

Physics is often where math meets the real world, and that's exactly where things tend to get confusing: students understand the math but lose track of what it actually represents physically, or vice versa. My goal is to help you build intuition first, then connect it to the formalism, so the equations stop feeling like a black box.

Whether you're prepping for an exam, working through a problem set, or trying to finally understand a concept your teacher rushed through, I'll adapt to what you need. I know how frustrating physics can be when it's taught too abstractly, so I focus on breaking concepts down with concrete examples and simplifying things until they actually makes sense.

I'm a Microengineering graduate from EPFL, where physics was a core part of my training across mechanics, electromagnetism, and optics. I also spent a year tutoring at Phassyl Private Education, working with students across a wide range of ages and levels.

As a former student who asked a lot of questions himself, I encourage my students to ask as many questions as possible in order to dissipate all gray areas and leave no detail to chance, thus promoting exam success. .
I firmly believe that academic success does not depend on an innate aptitude, but rather on the ability to identify weak points and work on them. As a Master of Data Science student at EPFL, mathematics is an important part of my academic curriculum. During my studies, I had the opportunity to act as a student assistant at EPFL in various courses in the Computer Science section.

I love teaching and have always enthusiastically helped my classmates. I have been giving private lessons since 2016 (around 25 students, including one for Analysis I, EPFL). I am also an assistant for two courses at EPFL (3rd year Bachelor and Master levels), and I co-created and taught the EPFL Advanced Analysis course during the welcome week for new students (Students4Students EPFL).

A student at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL), I am currently in BA5 - third year of Bachelor's degree - in the IC (computer science) faculty.

I have been giving private lessons since 2018 in mathematics, physics, chemistry and life sciences.

Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences since the summer of 2021, I completed a 3-month internship in a hospital environment in the psychiatric sector and basic research in neuroscience. I was also accepted-collée (admitted to the competition but the quota places granted limited my entry into medical school) after having completed a national competition that was both selective and elitist to integrate a faculty of medicine: the first year common to health studies. Very difficult in math, physics, organic chemistry and biology.

I was subsequently very involved in collaborative and associative projects to train students for the medical competition, in the first year. I like teaching, making people understand and seeing this moment of light on the student's face for whom everything becomes clear!
