About Me

My name is Simon and I am 20 years old, I am passionate about physics, my subject of study. I really like to transmit my knowledge and establish as many connections as possible between the different subjects covered. I find it very interesting to see the concrete applications of the subjects that we study in class or the way in which maths will help us to describe physical phenomena. I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Mathematics from EPFL, where I also worked as a student assistant for 4 years, notably for the CMS (Special Mathematics Course), the MAN (Upgrade), as well as for several first-year Bachelor's courses. I also served as a corrector for multiple exam sessions and wrote a handout for a course for Master's students in Mathematics at EPFL. As a student myself, I always share the same experiences and stressful phases as my students (difficult lessons to understand, exams, assignments, etc.), and I find this to be a major asset in one-on-one tutoring. It's a close connection that most qualified teachers overlook, which prevents them from understanding the student's difficulties.

I am currently in my second year at EPFL and passed my first year on my first attempt.
