Academic support in July – Science for all levels up to high school (fr/ en/ es)
From 52.62 C$ /h
I'm in my second year at EPFL and my exams finish at the beginning of July — which means I'm much more available and flexible than usual for those first two weeks of July!
I offer support in math, physics and chemistry for all levels, from primary school to high school, in Lausanne.
Depending on your child's needs, the format can be completely adapted:
For little ones: something light and fun, to keep them connected to math without it feeling like school during the holidays 😊
For middle school students: review the year's concepts, fill in any gaps, and start August with a solid foundation.
For high school students: finish any exercises they were struggling with, revise for a make-up exam, or get a head start on the start of the new school year.
I adapt to each student's pace and explain until it is fully understood. Lessons are available in French, English, or Spanish.
Feel free to contact me so we can find what works best for you!

About Me
I deeply enjoy helping children and growing alongside them. Being around them comes naturally to me, and I always approach everything I do with kindness and dedication.
I have held my BAFA qualification for 3 years and every summer I work in summer camps, which has allowed me to gain solid experience with children of various ages. I have also done babysitting, both occasionally and regularly.
When I was younger, I struggled with literature, and I sometimes received private tutoring. This experience allows me today to understand very well what it feels like to be in a child's shoes, with their doubts, difficulties, and specific needs.
Being shy by nature when I was younger, I myself experienced some difficult situations, and my goal today is to avoid this at all costs with your children, by offering them a reassuring, respectful and encouraging environment.

Education
My educational background is atypical and very diverse: I studied at the CNED (a distance learning program), then at a local school in Costa Rica, followed by an English-language school in Quebec, before attending a French high school in Spain. There, I earned a scientific baccalaureate with the European section option, as I love English. When I was younger, I also participated in English-language camps, which further improved my fluency. I am currently pursuing my studies at EPFL.
Experience / Qualifications
My approach is based on listening, patience and adapting to each child, in order to help them progress with confidence and serenity.

I offer academic support and homework help in science subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, etc.). I obtained my scientific Baccalaureate with highest honors in 2024 and I am in my second year of engineering at EPFL.
Before each lesson, I like to glance at the chapter or exercises to refresh my memory on certain theorems or formulas if necessary. This allows me to arrive prepared and explain the concepts clearly and in a structured way.
During the lesson, I guide your child step by step, taking the time to re-explain concepts, review the basics if necessary, and help them gain confidence. My goal is not just to solve the exercises, but above all to ensure they truly understand what they are doing and gradually become more independent.
