Master of Science in Physics (EPF); experience of teaching math at the gym as alternate; The program is based on excises and explains the theory through the examples. Evidence and derivations will only be part of our program if the students / students explicitly wish to do so or if they are treated in class and essential to pass the exams. The goal is to understand a complex subject using easy calculations and to be ready for exams. I do not intend to do a frontal teaching as we know it in school. It is important that we work together on a problem and that we can solve several problems of the same kind. If you wish, we can speak in English or German (my native language) during class. This can allow you to very easily become familiar with a foreign language. The relaxed atmosphere in a non-school setting can accelerate the learning of a new language, as no one (except me - and I'll forget about it right now) will notice mistakes.

Good morning ! My name is Julien and I have been at EPFL for 5 years. Graduated with a Bachelor's degree from EPFL, I am a specialist in academic assistance for mathematics and computer science. I have a lot of experience helping and supporting first-year university students. I have accompanied many students during the course and I know the challenges encountered by the students. I carry out real work of reframing and monitoring the student, while ensuring an atmosphere of personal progress for the student. I am very flexible on working conditions and locations, but here are some examples of private lessons: - Online availability on Zoom, I have a tablet and a pen for optimal working conditions. - Directly on the EPFL campus to save you additional transport. - Possibility of working in groups with your friends with a reduction in prices or directly at your home. Students of all levels are welcome and of course my help will be adapted according to the needs and objectives of the student. Whether it is for a one-day private lesson to solve a few problems, or a follow-up during the semester, I will try to offer the best assistance to the student.

Student at the Gymnasium in the third year (general culture), I propose to give language courses: French, English and German. My courses are mainly aimed at pupils of level rising from primary to the end of compulsory school. French mother tongue, I have a level A2 / B1 in German and B1 / B2 in English. Whatever the level of the student and his difficulties, I am able to help him evolve in his learning. My pedagogy is very simple; to interest the child so that he enjoys learning. Creating a pleasant and relaxed climate is also something that is close to my heart. Given that I am young myself, I feel I can better understand and put myself in the shoes of the person I teach. I am at your disposal for any other question!

Student of the Ecole Centrale Paris, I am currently in double-degree at the EPFL in Master of Engineering Life Sciences. I offer tutoring at all levels for students in the first year of medicine, especially for help in physics and chemistry. Indeed, I did three years of preparatory classes in physics-chemistry, then I joined the School of Engineering Centrale Paris, and attended a parallel training in biomedical medicine at the University of Paris-Sud. I am now in Master at EPFL, and I have been teaching for more than three years now, for all levels, in mathematics, physics, biology and chemistry. I accompanied many students for their first year of medicine. I know how to adapt to my students and their needs, to ensure their understanding, progression and success. Dynamic and involved, I am rigorous and serious. I like teaching and helping. I know the program of medicine in physics and chemistry because I studied it in preparatory classes. In addition, the profile of medical students is similar to mine (physics / chemistry studies in biomedical engineering).

My biology courses (biochemistry, biotechnology in particular) are aimed at the following levels: high school students, bachelor's and master's. I am also ready to train adults who are passionate about biology and are trying to obtain a diploma, for example. I adapt my method after having discussed with the student and I am very patient who has only one desire: the success of the student. I like to pass on my passion for life sciences and use several methods. I am a calm and very flexible person, willing to support students who seek to deepen their knowledge or who have certain difficulties. - Discussion and understanding of the learning method adapted to the student (mental imagery, diagram, comparison, oral, written and/or visual comprehension) - Use of adapted tools: textbooks but also computer tools (website, powerpoint, etc.)

I give courses of support or deepening in mathematics (analysis, algebra, geometry, ...) and in physics for all levels (mechanics, statics, thermodynamics, ...). I am able to teach the course both in English and in French.

I am a student at EPFL and I had my baccalaureate in mathematical science (the most difficult option in Morocco) with honors, then I did a preparation in France in MP in Paris then I changed for the EPFL in which I am a bachelor in communication systems. I will be able to simplify the notions of the course as much as possible so that the student will master them, once this is acquired, we can attack different targeted exercises. I review the program with the student, target his difficulties and take the time to work on them so that he can fill in his gaps and move forward confidently. My goal is to promote autonomy and the acquisition of knowledge, so that he has all the keys in hand for the future.

I am in the first year of physics at EPFL. I am available almost every day until late at night and even on Sundays. I speak English and French. I have already given math lessons online which allows me to have experience with private lessons.

Being in the 1st year of a Masters in robotics at EPFL, I have followed mathematics courses (with in particular analysis, linear algebra and probability-statistics) since the first year. I passed a scientific baccalaureate in France. In the last semester, I assisted in the series of the 2nd year course in probability and statistics at EPFL, which made me want to give private lessons in mathematics ever since. I therefore offer these courses for high school students up to Bachelor students at Unil or EPFL for example.

Maths and physics are among the branches that divide students the most. However I am convinced that it is possible to reconcile them with their refractories by providing a personalized and pragmatic pedagogy, while linking the subject to other branches to anchor them in a general knowledge. Thus these courses given at home are personally adapted to each student according to his affinities and his goals.
