Lever Up! Harp lessons and music theory for children and adults
From 68.29 C$ /h
The lever harp is a very diverse instrument, suitable for all levels! In my lessons, I endeavor to help you achieve your musical dreams and goals. Lesson material includes instruction in foundational technique and reading music. I use mostly Irish music as well as classical and church music. However, what I teach can be applied to other styles of music outside of lessons.
Music theory can be incorporated to suit your preference or even taken on its own. I have a passion for how music works, and I love to impart that to my students, effectively giving them the tools to become independent musicians and learners!

About Me
Originally from the USA, I have grown up in Ireland in a large family. My mom taught me piano as a child and in 2011 made it possible for me to take harp lessons from Siobhan Armstrong, chairwoman of the Historical Harp Society of Ireland.
In music, my passion is to understand how music works and equip others with the tools they need to become independent learners - effectively helping them to achieve their dreams and goals. I enjoy playing Irish music as well as classical and church music! I do not enjoy playing pop/rock/jazz, and I do not use this music in my teaching.
Other hobbies include crafting, baking, and spending time with our family's Border collie! :)
