Hello ! Violinist and currently a student at the Haute École de Musique de Genève, I offer lessons in violin, viola, musical awakening or music theory for all levels and all ages, but also preparation courses for the baccalaureate option music . I also offer support lessons for students who are already studying in a conservatory. Very interested in pedagogy for a long time, I have already taught private lessons in Paris and Versailles, but also at the conservatory of Dreux in France, where I had the pleasure of being a violin teacher and accompanying my students. in their musical journey. Passionate about music since I was little, I am interested in different styles; so-called “classical” music, due to my training, but also jazz, Klezmer music and Eastern music, due to my origins. From a pedagogical point of view, I know how to adapt to everyone, and the method I propose to learn is centered around the pleasure of playing, while ensuring that I provide my students with a stable knowledge base, theory, practice and musical culture. Hope to meet you, Martha

Learning while having fun is tempting! I offer you a gentle and playful approach to the trumpet, through the pleasure of playing with good sensations on the instrument. To do this, I adapt to your desires and needs and guide you as best as possible towards your goals. I work in the Geneva area and am studying for a Masters in Pedagogy at the Geneva University of Music. Throughout my schooling, I was able to develop my knowledge and my pleasure of playing the trumpet. Meeting great trumpet players and teachers allowed me to understand multiple ways of approaching this instrument. The acquisition of a degree in musicology, a DEM in trumpet and then a Bachelor in Trumpet as well as experience in different formations (reggae, French song, pop/rock, bigband, symphonic orchestra, baroque ensemble, chamber music, contemporary music, ...), plus experience as a trumpet teacher in music school, a Bafa/Juleica and a crazy love for music and in particular the trumpet, allows me to assure you that you will find something to satisfy you!

With a bachelor's degree in biomedical sciences and currently a Master's student at the University of Geneva (UNIGE), I offer private lessons and academic support in mathematics and science for primary, secondary and undergraduate students in Geneva. I can support your child with occasional homework help, reviewing a poorly understood subject, preparing for a quiz or exam, filling in gaps in knowledge, or setting up regular follow-up throughout the school year. I place great importance on adapting to each student. Everyone has their own pace and learning style, so I take the time to identify any difficulties they encounter and adjust my explanations and approach accordingly. My goal is to make concepts more accessible while helping each child develop their own methodology—tools that will be useful throughout their learning journey. Lessons can be given in French, my native language, or in English, which I speak at a C1+ level as certified by the TOEFL. I am available for one-off lessons or regular tutoring, depending on the student's needs and goals.

We will cover targeted concepts and techniques to achieve your goals and adapted to the way you learn best. Sheet music, oral, visual, annotations or adapted scores are all tools that I keep at my disposal according to needs. Music theory can help some people, in certain forms and in measured doses, while others, on the contrary, do not need it. It does not take me much time to learn to understand you and from the first session I will have targeted one or more approaches that will suit you. I still have one rule at heart, and that is to always maintain musicality and take pleasure even when playing simple things or exercises. Learning should never become a chore and should be a pleasure just as much as enjoying a good level of playing.

**Who am I?** I am a patient, dynamic person with a passion for mathematics and programming. For several years, I have been teaching students from ages 7 to adults, adapting my teaching methods to each student's pace and needs. My goal is for each student to gain a deep understanding of the concepts, rather than having to memorize them. I strive to make these subjects accessible and stimulating, while fostering open dialogue and a climate of trust. I have led several workshops for the EPFL Science Promotion Service, including: - introductions to artificial intelligence for classes aged 10 to 18 at the Musée de la Main in Lausanne; - the “Internet & Code” and “Coding Club” workshops, aimed at young girls aged 9 to 16 to discover programming; - “Maths in Games” workshops for 7-11 year olds. I was also a student assistant for the mathematics course in the preparatory classes at EPFL, and a mathematics and programming tutor for several students during my studies. Thanks to this varied experience, I have developed an interactive, caring and personalized teaching method, which aims to give each student the keys to progress with confidence and pleasure. --------------------- **About the course** As a private tutor, my priority is to create a caring and motivating learning environment, where each student feels confident to ask questions and explore concepts in depth. I always prioritize understanding over memorization. My goal is for students to grasp the logic behind each concept, to be able to explain and apply it, not just recite it. We review the lesson together to clarify any unclear points before moving on to practical exercises that help anchor the knowledge. I encourage curiosity and always remind students that there are no "stupid" questions. -------------------------------------------- **Who are my courses for?** I work with elementary, middle, and high school students, as well as adults. Whether it's to fill in gaps in knowledge, regain confidence, or delve deeper into a subject, my classes are tailored to each student's level and goals.
