About Me

I'm a very curious teacher: always trying to learn new ways to approach the task of teaching and I'll be ready to find the best way for you to learn.

Music is my passion and, though I like diverse kinds of music my favourite ones are those from the Middle-ages, Renaissance and Baroque periods.

Education

I graduated from the Manuel de Falla Conservatory (Buenos Aires, Argentina). I specialised in vocal coaching, choir conducting, early music singing and recorder playing

Class content:

• Instrumental technical work of the voice:
- Teaching of anatomical and physiological aspects; recognition of the characteristics of the student's voice at the moment of beginning to study.
- Putting into practice relaxation exercises, breathing, correct physical posture, vocalization.

• Musical work:
-Teaching of the interpretation of a variety of repertoire according to the student's interest: different genres and musical styles where the technical tools learned in class are exercised.

Recorded material of each meeting is delivered, both in audio and video format, so that the student can exercise and correct what has been worked in class, as well as the accompanying musical material on the chosen repertoire.

I teach vocal technique through body awareness. We’ll dive into the essential principles of singing: breath, resonance, and articulation. We’ll start with some breathing exercises to get warmed up, followed by vocal exercises to work on technique, and then you’ll get to sing a song of your choice.

We’ll also bust some common myths about singing, and you’ll be amazed at how much you can learn in such a short time!

It’s going to be a lot of fun!

In this workshop, I encourage you to venture into our Voice as the creative expression that it is, exploring singing as part of our expressive nature, slowly getting rid of the concept of "singing well", "singing badly", as well as making use of both the technical part as an essential tool.
I also encourage you to become more aware of the body as the instrument, and thus give rise to a space of trust and warmth with ourselves so that whatever it is that needs to be expressed, it can come out freely.
