I studied bachelor and master in cello performance at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in England where I received distinction. I perform professionally as a soloist and orchestral player and have been teaching cello for 8 years. I have 5 years experience teaching cello in the UK school system, and my students achieved 100% success in ABRSM exams.

I can also teach music theory for ABRSM exams.

I teach in English and French.

I am a passionate teacher who loves to share my knowledge of the cello and music with students.

I worked as a cellist and teacher in the UK for 8 years but have moved to Montreux to set up my class in Vaud.

I believe in setting up strong technical foundations and great posture from the beginning and can cater lesson to what each student wants or needs.

I teach cello to children, teenagers, and adults in a supportive, motivating, and pressure-free atmosphere. Lessons are fully tailored to each student's level, goals, and pace, whether you're a complete beginner or a more advanced musician.

I also accompany many adults who are starting the cello for the first time, sometimes after the age of 40 or 50, as well as people who are returning to the instrument after a long break. No prior experience is necessary, and it is not required to be able to read music at the beginning.

I have previously completed my Bachelor of Music at the Cleveland Institute of Music 18' under the studio of Dr. Melissa Kraut, where I also became Suzuki certified for pre-twinkle to Book 2. I have also been a student of Hans Jorgen Jensen at Northwestern University, Wei Yu, Andres Diaz and John Kadz. Over the last ten years I have gained teaching along with performance experience in Toronto, Calgary, Cleveland and Chicago, working with some of the top teachers and pedagogues in North America.
