Would you like to improve your English while also understanding more about the country you live in?

I offer online English lessons for adults, with a strong focus on communication and real-life language.

Whether you want to move beyond the basics, become more fluent in conversation or refine an already advanced level, the content and level of challenge are adapted to you.

My lessons use the CLIL approach (Content and Language Integrated Learning). Instead of learning the language through disconnected exercises, you learn by exploring interesting and useful topics about Switzerland and everyday Swiss life.

We might explore:
- Places to visit and Switzerland’s different regions
- Festivals, traditions and cultural events
- The Swiss government and how the political system works
- Current votations and how to discuss them
- Food, customs and lifestyle
- Everyday life and practical situations in Switzerland
- Current events and topics that interest you

What will you gain?

✓ More confidence speaking English or French
✓ A richer, more practical vocabulary
✓ A better ability to express your opinions and take part in conversations
✓ Improved listening and comprehension
✓ A better understanding of Switzerland, its culture and how things work
✓ Language you can actually use in your everyday life

Grammar and vocabulary are still part of the learning, but they are taught through meaningful content and communication, rather than being the sole focus of the lesson.

💻 Lessons are online, so you can learn comfortably from wherever you are.

Whether you are new to Switzerland, have lived here for several years, or simply want a more interesting and practical way to improve your English, the lessons are adapted to your level, needs and interests.
