Hi! I’m a native English speaker and CELTA-qualified teacher, and I love helping people feel more comfortable and confident speaking English.

Before moving back to Geneva, I worked with NGOs in Greece supporting refugees and asylum seekers. As part of my work, I taught English to people from many different backgrounds and levels, as well as managing community programmes and volunteers. I really enjoyed the teaching side of my work — especially getting to know people individually and seeing their confidence grow.

That's why I prefer one-to-one lessons. I want our lessons to feel less like a traditional classroom and more like a relaxed conversation where you can practise, ask questions and learn at your own pace.

We can focus on whatever is most useful for you. Maybe you understand English quite well but find it difficult to speak. Maybe you need English for work, want to prepare for an interview, or simply want to feel more confident having conversations with English speakers. Or perhaps you just want someone to practise with regularly.

About Me

Hi :) I’m a friendly, patient and open-minded person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds and cultures.

I’m a native English speaker from the UK and a CELTA-qualified English teacher. Before moving back to Geneva, I spent several years working with NGOs in Greece, supporting refugees and asylum seekers. My work involved managing community programmes and volunteers, as well as teaching English to people from many different countries and backgrounds.

I really enjoyed the human side of this work — getting to know people, understanding what they needed, and helping them gain confidence. I’m naturally quite relaxed and encouraging, and I want people to feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions.

Having lived and worked internationally myself, I understand what it’s like to communicate in a language that isn't your first language. I speak French and am currently continuing to improve it myself, so I know from personal experience that learning a language can sometimes feel challenging — but it can also be really rewarding.

I’d love to help you feel more confident and comfortable using English, whether your goal is professional, personal or simply to be able to have a good conversation without worrying about making mistakes.
