Professional music recorded as a sound engineer and musician, I try to give some computer-aided music lessons on software like Ableton Live 10. I can also share my know-how concerning the recording in studio as well as all the bases for a musical production autonomous. I have a very complete home studio in which I can accommodate students (guitar, bass, synthesizers and keyboards, drums etc.). I have already been a trainer in a sound school in partnership with Ferber Studios. So I usually share my knowledge and my passion with the different trainees I was able to host in the studio.

Beatboxing is a relatively unknown discipline, even though it allows for an absolutely incredible musical variety: percussion, whistles, bass, special sounds straight out of an alien movie... our body is an instrument in itself, and learning beatbox is accessible to everyone! (Take a look at some beatboxer videos online, you'll be amazed!) I'll take you step by step, starting with easy and useful sounds, gradually moving towards impressive, fun sounds, or those of your choice. In addition, I practice with you and complete your knowledge of music theory and particularly rhythm when necessary. Hi, my name is Jim. I'm an electronic music producer with a Master’s degree in Music from the Fontys Academy of Arts (Rockacademie) in Tilburg, Netherlands. For me, making music is about building the skills and mindset to bring creative ideas to life and I’m passionate about helping others do the same. As Malvae, I have written, sung, produced, mixed, and performed my own music, reaching #17 in the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA, gathering millions of streams, and featuring in films like the upcoming documentary King of the Streets and a Netflix series. One of the highlights of my artistic journey was the Amazonas Project, where I traveled deep into the Amazon rainforest to record and transform natural sounds into a full-length concept album, blending storytelling, sound design, and music into a single experience. I had the honour of headlining my own show at Melkweg Amsterdam, one of the Netherlands' most iconic venues, and curated my own events while performing immersive, self-built live sets with visuals. I’ve also taught technical music skills at professional facilities such as Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. Music has taken me to places I never imagined, from the Amazon rainforest to some of the most iconic stages and I'm excited to help you build your own creative path. Africa is the center of the rhythms of the 6/8 register. Benin's musical identity comes from the many sources of our cultures and general traditions. This course is initiated in order to allow drummers to discover and access all the rhythmic potential for their performance through the learning and practice of Benin Polyrythmie. You will learn among others: - the basics of 6/8. - basic rhythms. - the different combinations on the battery. - Grooves and improvisation trials. - How to discover the key of 6/8 without needing to be Africans or Beninese.

Logic Pro is a powerful but complex software tool that can be used to create everything from very basic recordings and compositions, to huge professional productions. You'll learn all the skills you need to set up and use Logic Pro; how to record and edit audio, use software instruments and plug-in effects, and how to mix and process your sounds. Lessons can either be conducted online, or at my studio, if you're local to Plymouth (it's not in a restaurant, I don't know why it says that!) I've been using Logic Pro for almost 25 years and have taught it at University level.
