About Me

I am a passionate and dedicated swimming teacher based in Cardiff, with over 10 years of experience as a competitive swimmer and 6 years of teaching experience. I am fully qualified with Swim England Level 1 and Level 2 Teaching Qualifications.

Swimming is an essential life skill that promotes confidence, safety, and lifelong fitness. I strongly believe that everyone should have the opportunity to feel safe and capable in the water, whether they are complete beginners or looking to improve their technique.

I provide high-quality, personalised swimming lessons for children and adults of all abilities. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each individual, helping swimmers build confidence, develop correct technique, and progress at their own pace.

I am fully insured through the Institute of Swimming and hold an enhanced DBS check, Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, and safeguarding and child protection certification. This ensures a safe, professional, and secure environment for all learners, particularly young swimmers.

Whether your goal is to overcome fear, learn the basics, or refine your strokes, I am committed to helping you achieve your goals while making lessons enjoyable and rewarding.

Education

I am originally from Cardiff and currently a final-year student at Cardiff University, studying Human Geography and Urban Development and Planning (BSc). Being local to the area means I have a good understanding of the community and local facilities, allowing me to offer flexible and convenient lesson arrangements.

My studies have strengthened my communication, organisation, and people skills, which I bring into my teaching to ensure lessons are well-structured, engaging, and tailored to each individual.
