About Me
I am a student doing my last year of A Levels currently. I think this would help me with my teaching as I am quite up to date with the methods that mathematics and English are taught in schools currently.
The way I like to teach is more fun based especially in younger children's classes, for example in my singing class I like to get the student comfortable before I start, so they can feel confident. I do this by starting on a easy song that they know and singing along with them, when they develop confidence I will then start teaching with little games and make the warm up exercises a fun thing also. In my maths and English classes I like to teach them the content and then play little games as consolidation, for example if we head just learnt how to do the times tables I would play a card match game where we times the numbers together, to ensure they have understood well.

I am here to teach singing skills to younger children, in the lessons I can teach them how to warm up and sing songs that vary in ability as they get better. I have had experiance working either younger children in a different setting.
I feel its important for children to learn this as not only will it boost their confidence, it will give them something fun to look foward to and will be a good skill they may want to develop further as they grow up.
