“My unique technique enables the singer to create richness and depth to their voice, expanding their range and capabilities whilst maintaining their stylistic identity. In just a short time, I can assist you with developing your sound whilst releasing tension and discomfort. I also specialise in being able to add flexibility, height and comfort to your vocals.

I also help with public speaking by stretching and strengthening the voice with specially selected warmups.

My 2 decades of intensive classical training has meant that I have spent many many hours researching and exploring my own sound and voice, resulting in me knowing exactly where each note should be placed. Once this technique is adopted you will be able to sing any genre with ease at any given time.

Having a European approach to singing has given me a more relaxed method when it comes to coaching. I believe singing is a feeling that is created in and around us and isn't necessarily defined by a grade or exam. I will guide your strengths and weaknesses intuitively, dependent on the individual to give you the confidence and ability to sing with ease.

- All levels and genres welcome -
Extra information
"I do most of my clients online as nearly all of them are overseas, I have such a great understanding of the voice and where it should be placed that I am able to tell immediately when the sound is not in the correct place."

If you are someone who doesn’t live close but you have a musical ear and can follow instruction then you would be

perfect for my online 1-2-1 sessions which are available to you anywhere in the world.

I have a unique technique that can help those struggling to find strength in their voice when public speaking or performing. Vocal fatigue is something that is very normal but can also be prevented through specially guided warm-ups and techniques.
After studying the voice for many years, I have a developed a deeper understanding of the voice and how best to strengthen it. Public speaking is an art form and whether you are a performer, actor, YouTuber, or preparing a piece to present at school, college, university, or the workplace, I can help your voice.

I teach instrumental lessons (face to face from my Music Studio and online) on flute, piano, singing, saxophone and clarinet, as well as music theory. I also offer general musical skills sessions for young children who are not quite old enough to learn one specific instrument yet.

I have experience as a Music Teacher and Lecturer for schools and colleges, so I also offer help with GCSE and A-Level Music.

I attend regular Safeguarding training and I have an advanced DBS on the update service. I also have experience working with children who have special educational needs and EHCP’s.

Learning music and an instrument as well as being part of a group or ensemble, is about much more than becoming a performer. The skills and techniques learnt, are incredibly versatile for use in other subjects as well as being valuable life skills. Below are some of the skills which are developed in Music:

Co-ordination
Motor skills
Imagination
Expression
Commitment
Discipline
Organisation skills
Self evaluation
Confidence
Team work
Communication
Support
Setting targets and goals
Sense of achievement

I am also a Musical Director for choirs where the importance is on community, enjoyment, health and well being and making sure that people feel included and good about singing with a wide range of repertoire including classical, folk, jazz, gospel, pop and musical theatre.

I also have experience of running school and college choirs, orchestras and ensembles. I choose repertoire of various genres for students to explore different sounds and styles, with some being quicker to learn but effective, to build a more instant satisfaction and confidence within the group, while other pieces are more technical, allowing students to challenge themselves.

As well as being a solo Flautist, Singer, and Saxophonist, I am part of an acoustic Classical Flute and Guitar duo, a Folk duo, a Jazz ensemble and a Folk Rock band, performing at weddings, private functions, festivals and events.
